Good informative and interesting video. The only thing is which illustration was that of a liverwort? They all looked like mosses to me. Or were they all liverworts? that was not made clear.
For me the thing is, we all just loooove looking at ancient life that is large, with large teeth, claws, horns, etc. Yet without examination of the more humble specimens, such as plants, we lose the big picture of what the environment was like and how animals interacted with it. We need to get the whole story of how and why things evolved and what it was like back in the Paleozoic, Mesozoic and early Cenozoic. I'm glad that there are people studying the plants, like this guy is, to give a broader perspective of what was going on million of years ago......
