I was a head bouncer. Anyone who has been one knows that drunken people are trash talkers once that alcohol has turned into beer muscles. I had always hired cool and level headed men. One was a highly trained martial arts master. He was challenged by a competing member of The Beast of The Northeast community. The guy was massive heavily muscled and definitely a threatening guy. But, my team were all taught to remain calm and use pressure point control over using strike force. My well trained martial artist used a pressure point control method to remove the man from the bar. Next night he came back and apologized for the way he acted the night before. MMA & Boxing are sports and the hype show before the fight is always there. I love watching cocky fighters getting starched. Thank you for the video. Always better to use your skills over trash talk.

Agree, that alcohol turnes certain people from calm and cool, to vicious and arrogant. But I've had a few incidents where they had came back to me the next day and told me how sorry they were, I would tell them to just watch how much they consume because most people won't be as nice.

Spot on. Bouncer and bodyguard here. Drunks are far too cocky to control their tells and are easy targets if they start throwing hands. To bounce, your best win is made by them throwing everything they have and you just swatting them away. After that, I'd ask them if they would leave quietly, or wanted me to actually hit back. Most would see that they couldn't hit you and had nothing. Others... a few fast slaps... not hits... would wake them up to the situation.
Pressure points, wrist and arm locks are something I was taught very early, and gives near total control of the subject, leaving them with a sense of "wtf?". People think bouncers fight...we don't. We control and remove. I escorted a huge rugby player out for grabbing a girl between her legs. He had 2 other players with him, and I was alone at the back of the club. I did the split fingers pushed under his eyes and a hand behind his neck, told him if he tried anything he'd be blind. He called his mates off, I walked him out in that position, with patrons looking on in disbelief. After we were outside and I let him go, he smiled and said "fk mate, that was a great move". I banned him because of his low act, but saw him around the other clubs. He'd laugh and tell his mate "this is that guy..." and we'd all have a laugh. Strikes and kicks are useful, but last resort to a good bouncer.
Loved your story bro. Hope mine resonates with you. Take care out there everyone 😊

I live in Vegas, home of UFC and BJJ gyms all over the place. Way too many cocky muscle heads loaded with more confidence than brains…and that’s when they’re sober.
Casinos/clubs are tired of it. One group here specifically seeks out MPs due to their experience with drunk and overconfident people.

(Garcia vs Fortuna had me remember this-one of the ways Garcia put him down so fast)
Those damn quick upper jabs to the very mid of the torso (solar plexus) will put anyone down so quickly
Was sparring a kid who barely had anytime in the ring. Just going, exercising, teaching him as much I could.
But BAM did he teach me. Had this really awkward way of jabbing that wouldn’t work for an entire fight, but good hell if you weren’t blocking your stomach correctly with this kid.
Me & the coach helped him better understand what it was he just did so that he’d never forget-perfect shot.

To be fair the MAyweather McGregor fight was a shit show from the beginning. Even though they were supposed to be fighting under WBO rules, it seemed as though the ref wasn't too keen on applying those rules. For instance, according to the WBO rules a fighter is not allowed to "turtle up" (purposefully turn their back to their opponent) more than three times in a single round, and yet Mayweather turtled up at least four times in the opening round alone. He continued to employ this tactic for the next 4 rounds. If they had been truly following the WBO rules it should have been ruled a DQ loss for Mayweather. I am not saying that McGregor was a better boxer by any means whatsoever. Obviously Mayweather was the more astute boxer on the night, and is arguably the most evasive boxer of all time. But rules are rules, and based purely on those rules he should have gotten his first L that night.

Connor McGregor did better than any other fighter every has! You put a MMA fighter against a Man that has had as many fights as Mayweather. If Mayweather was the Greatest. He should have been able to just dominate McGregor! Mayweather would not last one round in a Bare Knuckle Fight!
The only fight that shows true Championship is Tyson Fury! He definitely earns the Lineal Champion Title! That being said the Greatest in my Opinion is, Manny Pacquiao! Why?

A prime tyson definitely would have been an uphill battle for lenox lewis. Fighters in they're prime are able to take punches better than when theyre out of theyre prime. And only a few fighters in history took body and head shots as tyson in his prime did. You definitely cant say the same about lewis. Its inconceivable to say that Lewis could avoid getting hit with Tysons best punches, especially uppercuts. Prime Tyson was much faster and had great head movement.I cant imagine with lewis questionable chin, that he could survive the devistating punches from a prime tyson. Also, tysons head movement was almost non existent by the time they fought. I think lewis would give prime tyson a good fight but I am confident tyson would ko lewis before the sixth round if not sooner. In an interview years after they fought, lewis surprisingly said that he didnt think he could have beat tyson when he was his best.

The narrative in this video about the Connor McGregor Floyd Mayweather fight was so inaccurate. To say so confidently that there was no way Connor could ever win is absurd, especially right after watching Connor land a clean uppercut. That one punch could have turned the lights out.
Hell, there’s even the common phrase,
    “A punchers chance”.
Stating the fact that Connor has never boxed professionally as supporting proof that he can’t win is just ignorance at its finest.
