This man really just snatched this entire drama right out of Lee Min Ho's hands. I watched it a second time, fast forwarding to only Woo Do Hwan's parts, and it still stands as a whole show. LOL
Lmao, I did the same exact thing, I thought I was the only one. He seriously carried the whole show. Loved both characters & how he perfectly executed both characters even tho they polar opposites.
You missed one of the best parts -- the street fight where Jo Yeong comes flying in to protect the king, then reverts to being Eun Sup and calling the king 'Dude.'
Woo Do Hwan is a versatile actor! We can laugh or cry with him in this drama. He aced that double-charactered role.And his Busan accent is soooo 💯👌👌. Next drama,HE DESERVES A MAIN ROLE!
This is literally one of the best, if not THE best, k-dramas. The acting, the dialogue, the whole concept of the show is absolutely wonderful. They couldn't have picked more perfect actors/actress to portray these roles.

I watched this drama for the plot as it sounded interesting, I never knew who any of the actors were. So when I noticed Dohwan’s character and how he played both of them so well, I just immediately fell in love. He did an amazing job portraying these two
Many actors can play different types of characters. Only a true genius can play different versions of the same character and play off himself like it's actually two different people playing them. I'll say it again.....he is a genius!!!

my boy was able to play two distinct characters at the same time. i was in awe through the whole thing because when the two characters swap it really does seem like two different people trying to be each other but it's all the same guy. so amazingggg

I think it might be because he was able to portray two different characters with very different personalities, so we were able to see his acting range more. Whereas lee Minho only played one character so the personality didn’t really change

Because Eun Seop and Yeong are so different, Woo Do Hwan had a broader spectrum to portray compared to Lee Min Ho or any of the other characters too, considering that his characters across the two universes got more screen time compared to the other pairs. The others got more time as the character from one universe than their doppelganger. WDH did a fantastic job with both roles throughout... Totally nailed it.
