To be honest, since I have both Dex on my Galaxy note 9 ( I know, quite old, but still very useful) and my tab S7 FE, i don't use my computer anymore... I use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and I use a 1 tb external disk by usb, that connects to the usb c hub... I use dex every day and I'm pretty happy with it... And complete it with some video streaming app, and some retro console emulators (and a ps4 controller), and you have a pretty good media center setup...

Dex will run up to a 4k 60hz monitor with Good Lock Multistar installed from the Galaxy Store. Wireless Dex is more restricted though and only supports 30hz at present.

Samsung has a lot of amazing things on their phones. The only issue is it seems some things are hidden I switched from apple for the S7 Edge and I've had a Galaxy since then and even then I still feel like I don't know anything about my phone.

This is my daily pc. Well sort of. I bought a samsung galaxy s10e on amazon for $120, then i put an obama card in it so I have free service. THen i attached a cheap amazon usb dock with hdmi out 3 usb ports and ethernet. Now I game on it daily. When im not using geforce now or xbox gamepass to play full pc games im playing roms and emulators, this system can handle up to wii pretty well and the dolhpin wii bar from amazon works great, I play wii bowling on my phone docked to my tv! My next addition to it if I can ever afford it is to get a cheap vr headset :D
Imagine I have full access and control over my gear with DEX..I bring a laptop,tablet, 2 phones, my Polyend Tracker, and my cameras. I can shoot stills and video,edit them , store things in my SD card storage, and I can make a full video or music track, watch Movies on hotel TVs, and even send completed projects home to homemade server desktops..Does IPhone do that?????????
I love Dex, but my problem is that my job is on the go, so I need to find a way to stream/connect it to a portable monitor that won't break easy. I think there's gonna be a dand for blank tablets that connect to your phone

It's at the 365 dollar mark which is probably the best deal that we're going to get for something like this. There's not enough demand for this sort of thing yet and I don't think Samsung will meet the demand anyway because that can hurt their tablet sales
The S Pen fonctionnality is a little bit boring, it should be great if the S-pen get complete mouse fonctionnality with a arrow on the screen! Not very impress about the S-pen in 2023! The S-pen need an update refresh!

DeX has a serious issue for me, it doesn't allow you to reduce ringtone volume bellow 25% I believe. When using apps like teams, the call sound is adjusted according with the ringtone volume then your ears explode! Never used DeX again because of thar, almost got hurt because of it.
I meant with today's technology we can't go to the moon, why? And to top it off they're, trying to go to Mars. Seems like we should camp out on the moon as our first stop on the way to Mars.
There are some bugs - my Samsung keyboard gets locked in floating mode until I reboot the phone after I unplug on dex, the open apps cannot be dragged and dropped between two screens (one being the phone itself) even if switch on cursor flow, the “permanent request for desktop site” for internet doesn’t work, the outlook app is dismal and the reply message is at the bottom of the screen etc. a long way from being optimized.

Samsung Dex is counter productive because the phone overheats and it cuts out because it happened to me!
My S20 doesn't overheat.
I never had an overheating problem using it on my S9+ or my S22 Ultra and now with the S23 Ultra it doesn't Even get warm LOL.
