mads is (i assume, with a name like that) danish, but it sounds like he's lived in usa for a long time, so he's picked up a bit of an accent from there
Yeah, it's a heavily americanized Danish accent; he's probably been in the US for over 20 years now. Compare with e.g. Mark Seemann for an "original" Danish accent; I think it's a fun one.
Big shoutout to Mads for mentioning F# in such a positive light. Makes me so happy
F# PRAISED, ME HAPPY
Great talk! Paced nicely, relaxed, and delivered expertly.
Can't wait to see his "talk from yesterday"

Mads is an excellent speaker and this talk has been featured in the last issue of Tech Talks Weekly newsletter 🎉
59:50 Big sad that fsharp is so shunned
F# like union types and tail optimisation - come on Mads - still looking for these for over a decade.
Interesting topic, but WAY too many ads

Waiting 40 minutes to hear F# mentioned was not that fair :)
C# started as a knee jerk reaction to Java
The only design choice I am going to criticize in the video is the selection of the shirt.
wtf is that accent?
