To many doing martial art are not good enough "copy cat ninja's" when they need to replicate the moves in the Kata, they fail all the way through. I remember Nanbu saying so during a visit. He was more pleased with some of the white/yellow stripe then some of the black belts. 2 of the kids had way better motor skills then the others... he said, I was one of them ;)
