That's awesome! It's still one of the best models within this price range. For my purpose of riding it around the neighborhood for errands and food shopping, I couldn't be happier with it even 2 and a half years later.
It definitely is a great model, but you should also check out some of the newer versions of the Xiaomi scooters as well. They did make some adjustments and improved a few things here and there, for an added cost and some extra weight. For now you can recommend that your friends watch this review! 😍
Been eyeing to get a scooter , but yeah it’s so like feeling I will be struck . Watching you now on my tv,really interesting . I really want one. Huhu I’ve been researching and also like evokes and so, addicting . Really happy to watch you , nice review. Thanks mate.
Thank you so much for that! I'm glad you enjoyed this video. Please check out some of the other electric scooter reviews I made, including the Dark Knight and EZ Wheels Viper!
Thank you so much for that! So sorry for a late reply. This scooter is really a great investment because of what you get for the price. I'm actually getting the power upgraded for it, so I will be making an updated review for it soon!
Thanks! One of the best things about it is being able to customize it a lot. I made a video about that not long ago, but now I see that I will need to make yet another one because even more modifications were made. ua-cam.com/video/xy6Y5oprTaI/v-deo.html
Thank you! This review was more personal to me than any of my other electric scooter reviews because this is the one I bought to get around myself as my only source of transportation.
I am happy to see a lot of people embracing this way of getting around. It is way more fun, healthier and yes, more conscious for the environment. No car needed in a lot of cases.
Same. I bought it in February 2019 just after moving to the Philippines and still have the same unit. I was thinking of adding a front suspension, but decided to keep it light and instead added more batteries for extra speed. Now I can go up to 40 km/h, which is the best way to get around in Metro Manila.
Nice review, I'd like to try one sometime, probably need one with suspension and decent power here in Yorkshire uk, as roads are full of potholes and steep hills. I'm loving my ebikes but a scooter will be more practical for storage and taking into shops etc where the ebike isnt allowed and not safe to leave chained up outside.
I'm glad you liked the review, this one really meant a lot to me because unlike my previous three scooter review videos, this is the only one actually belongs to me and I have been riding it since early March of last year. The majority of the time though I ride it on decently paved roads with only very occasional hills. In your case, I strongly recommend looking into one of the newer iterations of the Xiaomi scooter. The original m365 is the light weight among the 4 or so options now available. None of them would be considered heavy duty either, but you could get improved acceleration for the hills. None of them come with built in suspension as far as I know, but because this is such a popular line of scooters, there are plenty of third party suspension add-ons that can solve the pothole issue and still save you money versus buying a more expensive scooter that comes with a suspension. I hope this has been helpful, and please do check out some other videos in the playlist section of my channel, including the other scooter reviews that you might enjoy. Cheers!
Sadly E-scooter were banned in Singapore since a few months ago which really sucks cuz it looks so much fun... was looking to buy one of those but then realised they were banned :(
I just heard about that also. It's really unfortunate when in order to fix a perceived problem, policymakers decide to throw out the baby with the bath water. Instead of having the courage to come up with a common sense regulation to find a solution.
@@TheTimelapseTraveler Yeah, but it's SG, not a developing country, they should know better by now, lol. Anyway, loving my tiny bile more everyday which also good for exercise so at the end, not so bad, but still, hehe
@@wildfuture.network You're right, the fact that it's Singapore and not a developing country is what makes it all the more surprising! Keep riding that bile, you'll be in the best shape of your life while making a whole lot of fun videos!
Thanks. I've made some other scooter and e bike videos which I think turned out better. I'm still happy with this scooter though, well over five years since I purchased it for 19,000 pesos.
@@aumarigan it absolutely is perfect for urban commuting. One of the best things about it is because it's such a popular model, it's easy to find a place to get upgrades and repairs for it. I got mine to reach up to 40 km/h for a 6K Php upgrade. I'm still using the original model you see in this video. Purchased it back in early 2019 and still riding it to this day. Check out Carb Evo in Pembo to see what kind of upgrades they can install for it.

hello sir, im planning to buy this, but is the battery of this scooter safe for the summer weather here in the philippines? it's very hot here but is the battery fire safe?
Yes it's absolutely safe here in the Philippines. I have been using this scooter all year round in Metro Manila for over two years and I'm still very pleased with it. I'm in the process of getting a power boost mod for it, so there will be an update review coming up sometime in the near future.
@@TheTimelapseTraveler thank you! i have one more question, im really nervous about buying this because im afraid the battery will get in fire, especially because i dont live in a building and i live in a steel plate roof with the windows always open, so im nervous it might get heated and get caught in fire, non other than less, you did an incredible job! keep up the great work, definitely earned a sub! :)
@@jirt3556 thank you so much for reaching out and for your support! I'm sorry for the late response, but here is what I found out about the same temperature range for the type of batteries that are in this scooter: All 18650 batteries researched need a storage range of between -20 ~ +50°C (-4°F ~ + 122°F) or they will degrade, so this is a good rule of thumb to use. Also keep in mind the maximum temperature for storage should never exceed +60°C (140°F). It is better to store in a cold environment, than a hot one.
I'm currently in the process of getting an upgrade mod for this scooter which takes the maximum speed up to 35-37 km/h. The cost of that depends on where you get it, but it is around 5K
