I like the theory that cahara was a cool father figure for the girl. Due to this the girl used her God powers to spare him and put him out side the dungeon with the crown, but at the cost of his trauma giving him some form of amnesia which prevents him from ever being able to talk about what really went on.
I think Celeste's kid would be Cahara's child in every way that mattered but Miro himself has said that while he *could* be the child's biological father, there's a lot of potential candidates because of her profession and he knows the probability of it being him is pretty slim. Which I think makes his choice all the more poignant; he loves her and he'll step up and be a father and provider to the child whether or not it's his own
@@franlpk9587 I feel like they were traveling together and had a pseudo father daughter relationship, and as to why he specifically delivered her there, perhaps it was just the influence of the god of the depths.
@@franlpk9587 worm girls version of events says that Cahara was chased down into the depths by the crow mauler, either that or the girl led him there. Was d’arce mentioned in termina? I don’t remember although I know a common headcanon is that legarxe was turned into the red demon man because of the rot spell
I feel like if it was one of the four characters who took the girl to the end, Cahara is the only one who it really makes sense to be. Considering we know that two definitely got out, and Darce probably left after reviving Legarde
Personally, I believe Cahara is the one who led the girl to become the God of Fear and Hunger, making it the canon ending. Cahara's impact on Termina seems empty, as the ending described ("you are forgotten") suggests. Thematically, I think his paternal nature, rebellious spirit, and the idea that such a simple man would be the most important person in determining world's future is so cool and fitting-a tragic end for such a dark game.
I keep repeating this insanely sad but hopeful slice of life headcannon where Cahara grows to love the girl as a father and in some golilocks event escapes with her in his S endng. Makes me imagine a life for them that would play out with her being an older sibling as they are both traumatised in front of a wife and younger child who doesn't know why. In the end a hopeful headcannon that has no place in this universe lol
"not the best in combat" You really dare to bad mouth the man that starts with dash, escape plan and gets to easily have En Garde within 5 minutes or less?
I think your a bit to pessimistic about Cahara, yea hes selfish, but hes selfish because his goal of taking care of his family, is tbh more important than all the random personal shit all the strangers he meets have going on. Imo Caharah probably saw his own kid in the girl and perhaps himself in Nilvian and maybe thats why he agreed to her terms to take the girl to the depths Either that or he was just chased down into the depths by the Crowmauler or some other villain
More like naive bro thinks he could do honest work when the ending a is real and alot of people died alot alot and he thinks the guy could do honest living 😂😂😂 even without the awakening of the god it wouldnt be still a good life his wife stillworking as a prostitute, his "daughter" (miro said it could be his) could even be working as a prostitute if she was even accepted for being malnourished.
honestly ending a fits him the best he went into the dungeon without a purpose like the others sure he wats to be a dad but he wants freedom hes going against his nature the whole time and his whole life its fitting he dies at the hands of his "adoptive daughter" killed by the only responsibility he absolutely should have shrugged off guilt got to him and he went against his code straight toji vibes
I was listening to this while driving and when you finished reading the part at the end of the game, about how he knows the darkness will leave no survivors, I actually said "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" like the end of a campfire story. This video was amazing, thank you so much.
That would be out of his character because he went in the dungeons because of money so following random navigations of some supernatural being is odd - especially because he doesn't even need Nilvan's soul at first place. And also because his wife wait for him to return so na way Cahara will risk his life more than necessary (for his S ending he MUST fight only one battle and can avoid any other ones).
@@ЮрийЗагуменнов-ш7ц I think it's fairly in character if his motivation was more compassionate for example if he thought following the order would reunite the girl with her family. Or if he never met nilvan himself but traveled with the girl and took her there for some other reason
@@anonymoususer9197 Then more likely he'll just take the Girl with him and they run away from the dungeons together. D'arce more likely able to take the Girl to the Deep - after Le'Garde's resurrection when she lost her purpose but found one more soul to help.
@@ЮрийЗагуменнов-ш7ц We dont really feel it because its through a game, but coming face to face with a New God is probably a character metamorphosizing experience. Like, what if St. Peter just showed up and asked you to take care of a girl. You would for sure do what he asked even if you had other stuff to do.
I’ll have to disagree with you on saying that Cahara is far too selfish to be the one to take the Little Girl into the Depths for a few reasons. Cahara taking such a massive risk in entering the Dungeons for the sake of his wife and unborn child when he really could’ve just taken her to Rondon and found a stable job bit he instead took a risky job because it would garentee finnacial stability for his family. The second reason is that whilst looking for treasure in the Golden City, he’d most likely have a vision of Nilvian the Endless begging for someone to help her child which would remind him of Celeste and his own baby. Plus, seeing a caged and horrified child would likely remind him of his own life as well as his unborn child, as selfish as he can be if he would climb into Hell for his wife he’d go through it for a child. Finally, the speech that the God of Fear and Hunger gives at the end of the fight best applies to Cahara than the other three adventurers. From the beginning he knew that he may never see Celeste again, but pushed those thoughts back because he’s just always been able to bounce back no matter what he when through “I can take one more risk, how bad can it be. I can go deeper, surely there’s more money I can find. I can just do what I usually do to get by, it’s always worked. It’ll be a quick in and out job, no matter how far down I go I’ll just get out” he knows that all of that is a lie, but he knows that it’s far too late to turn back as well
a theory flowing around is that, cahara had his S ending (spoiler alert) and came back to the dungeons with the girl, at that point he brang her down to the dungeons which meant that he dies without returning to celeste, this would mean that the baby does still live though, which prompts people to believe daan, a playable character in the second game is caharas descendant.

Cahara is a character that the audience at large is either overthinking his character, or underestimating his importance. He's such a loved character, everyone is on the fence about his ending. But i agree (somewhat) with what this gentleman said. Cahara was a regular man. A mercenary. He went into the dungeon for nothing more than money. However, although forgotten except to us, he is the reason for the new age. IMO, i think his ending is a combination of A and S. He may not have died, and was simply sent back. Didn't the Yellow King do the same in the C-2 ending? But...i also feel he was written out, tossed in a black hole to reappear later. (F&H3) ?
That money was his chance to provide for his family. Quite funny for a guy to be born an orphan and raised by bandits? I forgot his past but its funny that he was really sad for his wife and daughter and no the world of fear and hunger is based also of our world and without getting that money and just do honest work i assure u he aint feeding or getting her wife out that prostitution business nor the possibility of his daughter.
I will say that astrology has no merit. Especially the watered down modern day astrology, but ancient astrology is super interesting. It takes into account the sun, moon, stars, time, and planets, according to when you were born. Pretty neat, if you’re into the esoteric and occult (which I don’t follow, but still interesting)
This Cahara's character analysis is naive, naive to think which he can do honest work and get her wife out prostitution and feed her (her because miro said it COULD be his or COULD be not, but he still wants to take care of his wife and her daughter) daughter properly and even then it isnt even a certainty that the child will grow fondly and might 99% work in the red light district (why would that be the case because god of fear and hunger is cannon so the world will always devolve into chaos with him doing honest job will not do anything but die of starvation both him and his wife and her daughter. Also the girl cant go to god of the depths alone shes stuck, darce cant she needs to revive le garde and shell likely follow le garde and le garde wont be happy making the girl a god because of his jealousy and craziness, ragnivaldr needs to be alive, enki as well, a theory about cahara giving the girl to pocketcat is a bad theory because pocketcat is rher servant and does not want her to become a god so with his themes the only guy i can see doing it is him. And him attacking you when questioning him is proving my point cuz why would a selfish person care about someone's rambling 😂😂😂 he cares and he doesnt want to be like that but life made it that way he might even feel incompetent to even have a good life or to raise his "daughter" it doesnt make him less to do ending A it just supports it even more 😂😂😂. Also with gofah her idea of fear and hunger isnt for the downfall of humanity but for the world's hope one that she could be seen by a certain man that helped me not by just living in a cage and her dialouge that he would be forgotten but was the reason on why the girl showed mercy another reason pocketcat theory is bad. And one theory is nosramus but that wouldnt really connect with his idea of enlightment through urself alone also that he would listen to nilvan.
