Good to see coconuts and breadfruits in zone 9b 💪
The breadfruit goes indoors in the winter
Such an awesome collection of trees. I like the fact you have a herculis club tree too! I have one growing in Virginia that I brought from the house I grew up in down in brevard county florida. The seeds can be used as a szechuan peppercorn too!
Love the food forest and just the variety of content you put out. Thanks for the inspiration!
Awesome spring tour thanks for sharing
You have a lot of trees good job I am just getting started this winter knock a lot of my trees back
Awesome to see. I unfortunately am confined to my ARK to grow tropical. Got bananas but you have so much more, awesome.
Awesome graft work with that Glenn scion on the VP tree.
Thanks
Didnt think Guava would do that well with feet so wet! Interesting to see!
Apparently in Asia they grow them in swamps.
If you let those branches grow below the graft on your cheralotta when they both flower you will have excellent cross pollination and you'll have 2 types of fruit on one tree, I'm just saying
Problem is the root stock is pond apple which is basically inedible. I don’t want it cross pollinating.
@@andrebaptiste I gotcha, your right cut em off
Niiiice!!! how much property there...looks good!!
1/2 acre
If you're in Orlando you should meet Orlando Gardner! Check out his UA-cam channel! He's an amazing dude!
I am. I’ve communicated with him. But we have not met yet
Have you had any issue with those mangos and the cold? In winter springs it was like 25 degrees for 12hrs last Christmas at night. I moved up towards Ocala so I’m even further north now
A little. But once they mature they are a little more tolerant. I also have big oak canopies and a lake and a hill. So it’s a bit of a micro climate
It’s so nice to see someone so enthusiastic abt growing as I am! I push my zone 5b too. You have everything I have and some more❤ I can’t find your website info on your page will you provide it please and thank ya!
Thank. Permaculturelife.com
Perfect thank ya!
@@andrebaptiste how does your strawberry tree do in the cold ?
Not to be annoying but would you mind making a video of your starfruit trees and what you have learned growing them? Im having a hell of a time trying to keep mine going, might just be too much sunlight for a young tree?
Sure thing. I have a video about starfruit already made that I’m going to release soon
lovesomuch
can you give some advice on how to start sugarcane? Ive had some terrible luck, i tried five gallon of bucket and changing the water every day for about two weeks and only had one out of two dozen sticks even start to show life. In the end i planted them and watered them with zero sucess.
See my video on rooting any small segment in a glass. By wedging it horizontally. With water half way submerging it. Change water every 4 days.
I live in Winter Haven and I just started my tropical food forest. I have NO shade in my yard. Any recommendations?
That’s great. I have the opposite problem. You can plant your trees first they will grow well and provide the shade
@@andrebaptiste ok great thank you!
I think my Malika mango I put in a year ago is dead. All leaves are gone and no new growth
Try the scratch test
ANDRE CAN I GET SOME LEAF OF LIFE...ILL PAY...I DIDNT CATCH THE WEBSITE
