Curious but cautious, the princess accepted the gift. That night, she made a wish for the kingdom to always be prosperous. The magic ball glowed brightly, and the very next day, crops flourished, the weather became perfect, and the people were happier than ever.
However, as days passed, the princess noticed strange things happening. The kingdom's prosperity was growing at the cost of the people’s happiness. They were becoming greedy, taking more than they needed. The once peaceful land was now filled with envy and unrest.
Realizing the magic ball's true nature, Princess Lily sought out the witch. She demanded that the ball be destroyed. The witch smiled wickedly, but seeing Lily’s determination, she vanished, leaving only the broken magic ball behind.
From that day on, the princess ruled with wisdom, teaching her people that true prosperity lies in balance and kindness, not in magic.
