I'm here thanks to the Dan Patrick Show rewind look-in 😁
I love how he used his old-timer smarts to beat the pitcher. He saw the pitcher shook off the catcher twice, and knew it meant another fastball. Of course, it helped the pitch was belt-high, right over the middle of the plate, with nothing on it! But, still.
This will be shown on every episode of Intentional Talk until its last episode.
GOT HEEEEM
What a moment... for everyone!
Dan Thompson yeah, especially the pitcher.
Kevin Miller is the man.

This is *ALMOST* better than Bartolo’s. *ALMOST.*
The Perfect home run doesn’t exi.....
It's too bad the fans shot vertical video. It would have made a nice memory for them if they had shot it correctly.
pacificcoast101 I'm sure everyone involved is haunted by it to this day.
Same age as Kevin... I'm tearing up here at my desk
So good
Me too. We went to the same high school. Our baseball team won the Los Angeles City championships in 1988, when I was a Junior. I think he was the same class as me. Little did we know he would become a Red Sox legend and fan favorite so many years later!
Maybe you can use one of your tampons to soak up the tears ya Sally
We got Dodson here giving up the home run.
With or without the G... still nobody cares.
ha good one
Who is Kevin Millar
He played for the Saints early in his career. He got signed away by some farm system, and had a major league career of about a decade I think, including starting for the Red Sox when they won a World Series. He had a comeback attempt with the Saints when he was done in the majors that as I recall last just part of a season. I don't recall why he was signed to a one day contract, but that was his one at-bat. Like the broadcaster said, he hadn't played since 2010.
Kevin is a Red Sox hero!
While everyone else was counting the Sox out while they were down 0-3 to the Yankees Kevin was trying to pick everybody up. His tag for game 4, "Don't let us win today". He went from teammate to teammate, reporter to reporter, saying "Don't let us win today, tomorrow we got Pedro on the mound, Schilling in game six, in game seven anything can happen."
Watch "Reverse the curse" or "Faith Rewarded" and you'll see what I mean.
