I married Douglas Kirkcaldy, in 1970, in Ontario, Canada. We went to Scotland in 2010. Of course, we very much, wanted to see, Kirkcaldy. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we saw a lovely wedding party, having pictures taken in the park. The men were wearing kilts, it was fantastic. In town, we were surprised to see so many charity shops. While we were waited for the train, back to Edinburgh, we were sitting beside a young man. We asked him if he was a local. He was, but said, "there is nothing here for me, and I can't wait to leave." I asked where he wanted to go, and he said "I am going to California."
Hi, I’m a college film student making a documentary about the Kirkcaldy high street and I’d like to use some of the clips from this video in my documentary, would that be ok with you if I just screen record a few clips?
I'm from Kirkcaldy, just found this, what an absolute gem of a film, brought it all back from my childhood in the 70,s. Thank you so oooo much
