+Woodomain - Jeremy Broun Ive seen your videos too mate, just passed my A2 and looking at either this or the cbr500r. I remember you had some problems with your RC 390, what were they in total and what year model was yours?
How often to change the oil? I only drove about 300 miles last season so my oil hasn't been changed in 2 years, but only 300 miles. Should I change it this season before riding?
You should change out the oil, even though the mileage was not a lot but the oil has been sitting in the engine for long, and should be replaced with fresh oil. Recommended to replace the oil filter as well.
I really love your reviews, man. I've watched every single one of them. It'd be nice if you could do a review/comparison between the old FZ150i and the new (2014) one. Or maybe just a review on the new FZ150i :P
hey im planning to buy this bike very soon..i have a question plz.. im almost ur height do you feel any lower back pain or stress on ur wrist whie riding?
Hello, This is a very nice review. Can you please review the Honda Shadow Phantom? I have about the same height as you (170 cm). So I'd like to see how a guy like me would look on the Phantom. Thank you in advance.
Thanks! If I do have a chance to try that motorcycle I shall do my best, meanwhile you can check out the Vulcan S review, they should be somewhat similar sized?
I would have loaded a satchel with paint filled balloons for the bicycling champions as you call them. Slung over the right shoulder and resting on my left hip and ready to grab and fire! Nice cruise otherwise. You say it was comfortable cruising at 172kph? That's 88mph! Our highways speed limit is (70mph - I do 80mph). I love singles. I own one now. Not a newbie. I just like riding a slow bike fast these days. I have a 1986 Yamaha SRX-600. I know they're popular in Europe and Asia, but they only came out for one year here in the U.S. Not sure, but I bet the RC390 will be my next bike. Same weight and power actually as my SRX... Gotta love technology!
Cyclist are OK as long as they keep to the sides and not hog the road, especially going uphill, which is already narrow to begin with. I wouldn't recommend cruising at 170+ km/h since it's almost red lining the engine, a more sensible speed is roughly 140-150 km/h. Wait a while for a the newer batches - they will be equipped with slipper clutch! Ride safe & safe ride!
You cannot just based it on your income amount, you need to deduct expenses/commitment/loans/etc and see how much is left, from there, you need to see how much down payment you can afford, and how much is the loan amount and interest rate, to see what is the monthly payment you have to make, then you need to have some extra available for any maintenance/repair for the bike just in case.
tight budget D: racy feel 600cc bikes cost around 7xK and 5xK for 2nd hand. is it a hard choice between RC390 , R25 (maybe R3 coming?) and ninja 300 if is able to pick only 1?
The RC390 is somewhat close to 27k range, while the R25 and 250R are close to 23k range. I can't recall the Ninja 300 price, but bear in mind for both 390 and 300 you'll need B1 or B license (over 250cc), B2 is not enough. That's another cost to get the license assuming you are currently just on B2. For that 2xK budget you can also have a look at the Blade 650R just to keep your options open.
Cool, then you have saved cost on taking the test.. Getting more and more expensive. You can have a look at the Blade 650R, check user groups/forums for their feedback. Has a mean V-twin sound.
I don't mind cyclist using the roads, but when they take up the lane (especially up hill where they are at their slowest), or cycle in pairs or groups (double file instead of single), that's dangerous and inconsiderate to other road users, that was my point. :) Thanks for viewing!
I've heard as lean angle start increasing the belly pads starts to scrape. I'm kinda serious about this problem since I'm going to get the bike. my riding will be 6 or 7 days in a months that too just for fun. is the bike suitable for me ?
From what I see the clearance of the bike foot-pegs is pretty good and scraping the belly pan before touching the pegs might happen if the surface is bumpy or has a ditch in the mid point or something like that. What type of riding will you be doing? Track? Street?
my ride would include some back twisty country roads, night rides when roads are all free ( just. short ride) since here in india there is no limitations on speed and sometime go out with friends on a weekend on a bike which is rare to happen these are my priorities
The 650F would sound much nicer but at only 48 HP might as well go with something smaller and lighter, unless limiting the 650F is temporary and you can set it to normal later in the future.
Well if it is just temporary limited power you can go ahead with the 650F but it will be somewhat laggy since it is larger/heavier but with reduced power. The light KTM might be more fun being lighter and able to use it's full power.

Yup, I kept them folded because of them had a loose neck joint and would flop at fairly low speed, and that annoyed me, so I decided to fold them. Normally I would not do so.

Please do a review of 2017 version
A very comprehensive review, thank you.
You're welcome. Thanks for viewing!
+Ankit Makhija Current ones, no. Future batches, yes.
Good review. I have the RC390 in the UK. I agree about the mirrors, virtually unusable .

Qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq
I can't decide between this bike or the 2016 ninja 300 abs just wondering what yall's opinion is this or the ninja?
The Ninja would have a stronger top-end, but the RC would have the better torque, I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
Great riding man, love your technique!
how far can you go on 9.5 liters of fuel? thinking about getting one of these ...
I didn't manage to try it out for a full tank of fuel but being a single they are quite economical.
what price do you get the RC390 &the top speed is about 175km/h? &great riding technique
I can't recall the exact price, I think it is roughly MR 27k. Yes that is roughly what I managed to get when testing the speed. Thanks for viewing!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE REVIEW
Thanks for viewing!
Where is this road you're on? Fraser Hills? Seems like a nice place to ride
The old Gombak road to Genting Sempah. Similar to Fraser's hill.
Bro...can you review old FZ150i...i don't mind if you have negative or positive review...I just like the way you review it... :)
If I do have one to try, probably! Thanks for viewing! :)
ok...don't forget the funny subtitles =D
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP KTM. AUSTRIAN NUMBER ONE SUPER SPORT BIKE.
does this have the ABS feature or do they sell one with ABS?
Yes there is option for ABS model for the bike.
hey im planning to buy this bike very soon..i have a question plz.. im almost ur height do you feel any lower back pain or stress on ur wrist whie riding?
If you have not ridden sports bike before, you will feel some soreness as mentioned, once you get used to the sporty position it won't be an issue.
Thanks..gr8 review
Bro, It would be awesome if you can review the new ktm rc250 too bro.. been waiting for a review on that bike :)
As usual, if I do get my hands on the bike, I'll have a review for it. :)
TheSighBored great!! You're the best bro... :)
+TheSighBored ,I am 164cm ,my total leg length is 30inches(76.2cm) do you think I will be able to ride the bike? :P
No problem, just maybe a minor tip-toe.
Thanks! :)
how about 150cm?

please reply....are u having this problem....blue smoke coming out
This was a test bike which I had for a day, I don't know about blue smoke, maybe you should refer to your KTM dealer or service center..
when u ride the rc 390, how u fell very smooth or vibrant the rc engine
The single engine definitely has some vibrations but I didn't feel it was too much.
Bhai mai lene wala hu bike rc 390 lelu kya phir tu kya bolta hai
KTM RC memang lawa dia punya design...tp yg x brp lawa sngt lampu depan dia(lampu bulat)
so the exhaust blows to your feet? ktm should redesig that.
No, not really, it's just the look but the actual tip is pointed back.
hahah that comment about the road tax was brilliant. Nice review overall
Thanks for viewing!

+Wabbit1961 . I did things like that when I was 16 as well.
is this available to buy in the USA ?
I'm not sure, maybe you can check on KTM USA website?
Ho bro, How is the vibrations at highway speeds?
I didn't find it have much vibration as one would expect from a single, here's the highway ride clip: ua-cam.com/video/sRMgLPvYYh4/v-deo.html
hey how comfortable is the bike for ur height?
Very comfortable.
is it good for begginners bike? i never used clutch before..
Yes it is. Can learn how to use clutch it's not hard.
Taruha Kurogane dude i just got on a 600cc zxr never riden anything before and taught my self years ago
Does rc390. Have a slipper clutch ?
2016 to 17 is getting it.
No only the 300 ninja and there is no talk off it getting one in 2017 like the other guy "so" says
Taijean Moodie wrong still doesnt and wont be any time soon
Nice bike
bro wheres this place that you are riding at?
It's the old Gombak road to Genting Sempah.
which action cam u used.....?
GoPro Hero2.
How about the hot on engine?
Engine overheat? When I rode it I didn't encounter that, probably need to check with owner groups on this..
good for a shorter rider?
It's not the lowest seat bike, but it should be fine, just practice the skills for short riders.
"Look at this champion..." 😂
Love these RC bikes, I wish they would bring the RC125 to Australia
To many champions on that rode.
Bolehkah kalau berpendapatan 2500 pakai motor ni?.. Mohon penjelasan..

Gombak Lama.. Almost dropped my balls the 1st time I'm there with my 150cc.. Haha~
Great riding techniques bro..
It's a really fun road to ride, challenging. Just some average riding done by me. Thanks for viewing, RSSR!
is it advisable for moped (LC135) riders upgrade to RC390? or the R25? @@
If you have a larger budget you can look for 600 above, the 390/250 will be slightly step up from the 135, but still something different than a moped.
tight budget D: racy feel 600cc bikes cost around 7xK and 5xK for 2nd hand. is it a hard choice between RC390 , R25 (maybe R3 coming?) and ninja 300 if is able to pick only 1?

Model 2014 or 2015 bro?
If not mistaken should be 2015..
where is the place
Gombak Lama, Malaysia.
please make same video for rc 200 ..
I don't think I can do that, the 200 is being replaced with 250, unless I find old model.
Does the under belly scrape ?
seems like they are
You mean if going over speed bumps? I didn't have any issue with hitting the belly pan.
I've heard as lean angle start increasing the belly pads starts to scrape. I'm kinda serious about this problem since I'm going to get the bike. my riding will be 6 or 7 days in a months that too just for fun. is the bike suitable for me ?

I think it would do pretty fine as long as you are not gunning for crazy fast speeds.
Is this 2015 or 2016 rc390 admin?
2015.
TheSighBored tq man, and can i ask, are the rc same 2015 and 2016?
this one or the Cbr 650f when down to 48 hp?
Why would the 650F be down to 48 HP?
+TheSighBored I live in Germany and when 18 we are allowed to have a bike with 48 hp
The 650F would sound much nicer but at only 48 HP might as well go with something smaller and lighter, unless limiting the 650F is temporary and you can set it to normal later in the future.

Where is this place
Is it frasers hill
Nope, jalan Gombak lama, on the way to Genting Sempah RnR.
Ohh i though it was frasers hill because in frasers hill there are also many cyclist
where is this ? looks fun to ride.
They call it Jalan Gombak Lama.
ohh the one beside Karak right ? thanks a lot
Yup. You're welcome.
Where is this ? the track ?
It's not a track, just an old road that is less used after the main highway was built.
Where is this road ?
Gombak old road, Malaysia.
hey Bored Malysian Punjabi can u tell me what RC stands for?

where this place....nice view....chill
It was the old road to Genting Highlands.
what weight u have?
My weight? My fat ass is about 65 kg, I think.
+TheSighBored and how tall are u?
169 cm.
how tall are you?
Not sure how tall, but I'm 169cm short though. :)
TheSighBored Im the same hight . I want to get Yamaha R1 but i feel its to tall so mby i will got for a Bmw RR
They're more or less the same, as long as you have the confidence to handle it and tip-toe it should be alright. Ride safe!
Thanks. Ihaven't sat on the R1 yet. I read its 855 mm tall in seathight. I saw one vidoe you sat on the R1 how did it feelt?
I don't think that was me, but you might be referring to this clip - ua-cam.com/video/aGQtV9GGgAA/v-deo.html . The mechanic is roughly my height.
lol he said you guys are champions 😂

bro tumpang tanya ktm rc 200 okey juga ka? is it good? kira superbike la kn ? baby superbike? just asking :D
Get the 250 ones, 200 stop production. Um, I guess some call it baby/beginner superbike?

Bro i think the side mirrors were folded in the whole time.
Yup, I kept them folded because of them had a loose neck joint and would flop at fairly low speed, and that annoyed me, so I decided to fold them. Normally I would not do so.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that
foree tree horse power LOL
i like your comments about that stupid cyclists frequently saw this happened on road to cameron highland
Sounds like my victa lawnmower lol
Wait till the wheels crack and explode as you ride over a pothole xD
2:02 hahahahaha
Fix your mirrors
