Yea it boogies a lot better when it gets up on the pipe now. Love it the the 2 stroke hits that power band and blasts off. Reminds me of my RM 125 back .....way back 80s. haha awesome truck!
Just discovered ur channel recently having owmned 1/5 scale,more into nitro(few electric also)the way 5t handles those jumps like butter and u clearly got a bargain when purchased,happy days😊
The drivetrain for the 5ive T is far stronger than necessary for the stock engine. 46GT is a perfect engine swap for it. Not too powerful but quite powerful for its size.
Nice job on the upgrades. I have to agree with you probably one of my favorite RC's of all time not to be an Internet tuner, but it sounds like your just a touch on the lean side but hard to say without hearing in person.
I agree with ya. You can't beat the torque and power of electric. And bashing anywhere without drawing attention haha. But there is something about running these 2strokes in person.
Losi impresses me with every model I get by them. They kinda keep quiet compared to other brands and let their RCs speak for themselves. I'm sure it's just getting an update and will re-release soon....hopefully.
Maybe to you, but I'll trust my experience with 2 strokes and Doug Johns the owner of ESP performance on that. He actually recommends 20:1 no less than 25:1.

Definitely! Mid range sings now 😆 Had I'd known that I would have done my acceleration test a bit different, but oh well. All just fun.

You're fine, it's possible. I didn't want to get too carried away with tuning and find myself in trouble lol.
Normally with changing the pipe on anything 2 stroke entails some minor rejetting of the carb

Try going up a scale, to the super baja rey, I got a super rock rey, they're sweet! Or 5t and don't look back!
@SketchRC- that re-release shares only some parts, like the chassis and upper deck, axle maybe.. The new Baja Rey 2.0 is Not the same.
I never had any luck with outerwear.
I'm currently building this ESP kit and wow, not sure if it was new filter or stock as well but it let in wayyyy to much dirt in the head.
@@SketchRC- i always ran k&n filters on my off road stuff.. but on that it needs a good 2 stage filter if they even make any
