The temptation to work Eruption in is real, since Salazzle is fast. But it's not fast enough to guarantee it gets off a full power eruption without a choice scarf that it doesn't have the necessary C to equip.
Could go HARD with Adaptability and Tailwind or Stickywebs support. Might even be worth the fire terra if you got it set up, but it is gimmicky

A lot of commenters jumped the gun before learning the lore of Miraipon.

Video idea. "Guess the shiny starter but we're colorblind". So 1 or more Pokémon are shiny, but the screen has to be grey scaled. If you can guess the shiny correctly, you can get any ability or an illegal move. If you guess incorrectly, the opponent chooses your Pokémon. You have to send a screenshot to each other of the randomized starters but they have to be grey scaled.
I thought of this idea because of Tobin, who is colorblind. I don't know if this is possible, but it would be pretty cool for a video

I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

Idea: Reverse letters - pokemon can only use their normal moves and abilities, but they *can't* use any moves/abilities/items with the letters in their names.

Move suggestions with this type of challenge with Greninja:
G - Gunk Shot or Grass Knot (common coverage for it)
R - Rock Slide or Rock Tomb (lesser common coverage)
E - Earth Power (special Electric coverage)
N (x2) - Night Slash and/or Nasty Plot (common physical stab and special attack enhancer)
I - Ice Beam (common coverage)
J - Jet Punch (priority stab when you don’t have Water Shuriken)
A - Aeroblast or Aqua Cutter or Aqua Jet (special Flying coverage, crit stab, and priority stab)
For abilities, if you wanted, you can make the G Grim Neigh, I Intrepid Sword or Intimidate, or the A Adaptability

Okay maybe I missed something and there was a rule against Wonder Guard because IMO anything with a W in the name is an automatic cheat code. Like I take Crabrawler all day every day because you can get Crabhammer, Wonder Guard, Aqua Jet, Aqua Cutter, Rain Dance, Aqua Ring, Leech Seed, etc. etc. and just be a complete asshole.

Z isn't such a bad letter actually. You can get Zing Zap which is an 80BP physical electric move with a 30% chance to flinch. Basically a slightly better electric type waterfall. Pretty sweet.
