Alarms went off near the end of the school day except 5his time they went off because someone was smoking smh imagine by smoking get some help like literally
I've never seen those fire alarms do the slowest code 3 tempo. Knowing the Gentex Comander 3's, Their code 3 is faster like the smoke alarms in my house
Why was the alarm still going off when you guys came back in the building? Is it because they couldn't get the alarm off because of someone setting off the alarm from smoking?
Depending on the laws in the state or county sometimes unless it's a planned drill or test the staff of the building are not permitted to silence or reset the system unless either given the all clear by the FD or the FD resets it.
@@randomhobbiest5562 I think they are FOS/Faraday now that I'm watching this again. I got an FOS 6227L from Ebay recently and it has the exact same strobe and silver plating on the inside for the horn. I KINDA got a glimpse and I think I counted 7 letters so same alarm just Faraday branding. Those sound horrible though and my brand new one sounds raspy too, I think these need to be fed filtered DC power for them to sound better lol
@@randomhobbiest5562 i think that should be a new rule of code of conduct though try not to smoke in certain facilities or building. other wise those heat or smoke detector will go off with those fire alarms.
System function as it’s supposed to. Everyone evacuated too. 2 good things!
Looks like a National Time and Signal system based on devices. Seemed like every other school and business used them when I lived in MI.
yea all of the notification devices have that sticker on them
There are people smoking in my school and set the alarms off every 50 in a week!

Same fire alarm at my Home Depot where my grandpa works and me wanted it to go off when i was there 2 days ago but it didn't
My gosh those mechanical horns are horrible!
they are electronic btw
This is a National Time & Signal system! I actually have an identical National Time control panel to the one that this system has.
The older fire alarms looks like there loud

idk maybe they were testing... I should have exit O house to listen to the gentex again
@@randomhobbiest5562 do you know why when you went back into the building why they silenced the alarm?
