Looks Ike they have since taken down the application for the CEP summer 2022! If you didn’t get a chance to apply this year, be sure to keep an eye on the career page in early fall and onwards (that’s usually when it goes back up) for your chance to apply for summer 2023. Best of luck to those still waiting to hear back, my fingers are crossed for you 🤞🏼✨🐭🏰
I just applied when applications reopened last week! I have my information session soon and I really hope I make it to the interview! Thanks for the informative video! ❤
I Interesting to apply in this program, I think is a good opportunity to meet people for other countries and practice english at the same time. I hope I can go and live this experience. Thanks for the video!
@Teri Adrianna I can't wait to go!! I know I am doing custodial but not sure what park I'll be in yet I'm hoping hollywood and or magic Kingdom but either is going to be fun 😆
That’s awesome! Congrats to your daughter ☺️ There isn’t a meal plan but housing has a full kitchen to make food in! And if you don’t have a car, there used to be (so i’m sure there still is) a designated housing bus to take you to walmart/publix to pick up groceries 😊 There are also cast member food spots to pick up food on your lunch break if you don’t pack food!
hello! thank you for this video, it’s very helpful! I’m thinking of applying this year for next summer. I was wondering how you went to and from disneyworld from housing? is there public transportation, a bus, can you walk there, or do you need a car? thank you!
@@TeriAdrianna thank you for your answer! if I may, I'm also worried about the heat - I tend to get a little anxious in hot weather. does it really get that hot, and if so, has the heat been very disturbing to you when you went?
@@maddiewatchesstuff I won’t lie, it’s quite hot and humid! I got used to it quickly though, the layer of sweat was just normal at some point haha. Especially in my first job at the Haunted Mansion the costume was dark green, with some sleeve and a long skirt which made it so much worse but when you’re busy and hydrating you kind of just get used to being sweaty and hot (at least in my opinion)! At Cosmic Ray’s, I was inside AC every shift. It really depends on what you’re able to handle and the position/job you receive but it is pretty hot, every day.
@@sheikmohammed7799 It really depends! Best advice I can give is be yourself, don’t forget to smile, & go through some typical interview questions before to get your ready so you’re confident with your answers! Like, “why do you want to do the program”, “what are your strengths/weaknesses”, “what sets you apart” etc. Just some examples to get you started ☺️
Do you know if Disney has this " partner " program where you can help them recruiting people from other countries? so you help them to do all the process for a really low fee ,Just the way campleaders does?
They don’t always have the applications open! They usually start around this time, it’s just a matter of checking back on the Disney Career website. Here’s a link to more information on the specific roles, if that’s what you were looking for: jobs.disneycareers.com/cultural-exchange-program … if you click “explore now” it will bring up what’s available to apply for! ☺️
It’s not easy to get a whole week off if you’re on the program unfortunately! You can definitely try and book days off ahead of time once you get there, but it’s up to the leaders and availability and it’s not always approved. it’s also not likely you’ll get a whole week approved. You could trade shifts with people as long as it doesn’t give you or them overtime but at least on my last program, they got rid of the option of giving away a shift for program participants (not sure what rules still remain). Long story short, you can sometimes get a few days approved and switch strategically to get a string of days off! 😊
I’m not 100% sure but I don’t see why not! You do have to be a student for the CEP (summer program). But the CRP (year long program in the Canadian pavilion in Epcot) you don’t have to be a student but you would have to live in housing w roommates either way! Hope that helps :)
Hi Meghan! When I was applying it was usually around September/October, with interviews being in the new year. It was a loooong wait to find out whether you were accepted. Now, I'm not too sure when applications will be going out for next summer. I don't think they have released applications for Canada as of yet. With how fast they did everything for this year's program, I wonder whether they are just going to do a shorter timeframe again? Your best bet to know when they are available is probably signing up for email updates: jobs.disneycareers.com/international-programs-opt-in 😊 Best of luck!
I don't understand, on their website it sais that they are recruiting in these countries. When I clicked "learn more" it said that I need to be able to attend an in person interview in these countries. Nothing was said about citizenship. Does that mean that I can still participate even if I'm from Russia?
Hello! I was wondering how many hours per week would you usually work? It seems like a very fun job, but I want to be sure if I will gain enough money for the summer:))
I applied for the year long one I was wondering if they took down the job post and im still under review is it a good or bad sign? Do they send at least an email if you dont meet criteria or you did not make the cut?
I don’t know of anyone who’s heard back about the CRP yet, so you should be good either way! You will get an email if you’re no longer in consideration. Best of luck! ☺️
Hello! I'm thinking of applying to do the summer 2023! Do you know if international students that study in canada, can go? One more thing, how long do the applications last? I think they have just opened, do you know if it stays opened for long? Thank you!! :)
That’s awesome! I’m not 100% on how it would work for international students studying in Canada, but the program is open to many different countries/regions other than Canada. It may be something you’d have to find out more about! The application window varies every year! With it coming out so late, it’s really hard to say how long it will be open for. It wasn’t open very long last year so I would try and find out asap whether you would qualify and apply soon so you don’t miss out! Good luck ☺️
That’s exactly what the Cultural Exchange Program is about! It’s basically your summer job 😁 The Cultural Representative Program is the one that goes for a whole year ☺️
For my first program, I’m pretty sure I only had one ‘work’ experience to list but I still used other leadership & volunteer experience that I thought was relevant for the application ☺️
It was a bit different each of the years I applied. I had my first interview on Feb 9th 2017 and got my acceptance email on Feb 23rd 2017.
