  • Ever wondered how snowflakes are made? For kids, snow can be an exciting and magical experience. But how do you explain how snowflakes form to kids? 🌨
The size and shape of each snowflake depends on how many ice crystals are joined together and is also determined by air temperatures. All snowflakes are thought to be unique but all have six sides because the ice crystals join together in a hexagonal structure. Even more incredibly, they can contain up to 200 crystals! Not only that, each snowflake is unique, so how are they made like that? ❄️
☃️ Snow is one of the solid types of precipitation, it is not rain but it is formed when water vapour freezes into ice crystals. The tiny crystals stick together to become snowflakes. When these groups of ice crystals are heavy enough, they fall to the ground as white flakes. ❄️ Watch this video to find out more and enjoy the snow video with your kids!
