6:55 i was into it until this clown says he's a "living legend"... I got news for this dude. "REAL legends never says they're a legend. #facts
I love when people who are against graffiti say "when you see it on the side of someone's house", first of all I live in NYC, born and raised, rarely and I mean rarely do you see this. Especially today, graff in NYC isn't what it use to be but even back in the day you wouldn't walk down a residential block and see graff on people's homes, now apartment building are a different story. Making it a felony really put a dent in the NYC graff scene, props to those who still get up.
Love peace and unity use your art to help your community kids!!
Graffiti such a beautiful thing! Super interesting to hear different people’s perspective and how things have changed. Do you!
I miss the 1980's

Wheres the HipHop Culture at? I think the most important thing to know about graffiti is the culture. Breaking, djing, emceeing, and writing the culture needs to be saved. #savethehilhopculture
is not graffiti part of the culture tho ? i mean it can exist and still be part of HIPHOP man...
Those were the elements to hip hop in the beginning, everything is more available so not everyone connects one to another
Hey guys u wanna see HOw dedicated we are to graff check nycartscypher.org and come thru when your in NYC where it all began
Wordup son
its not graffiti, its modern street art..graffiti are tags, trains and street bombing..this is legal art only
Some people may not like legal graffiti but I've been there bombed that and I'm contented with all the work I've put in the streets.
Now married with 2 kids, I try to find myself the time to express myself and doing what I like to do. And nowadays, I prefer hanging out in the hall of fame or a permission wall and paint some nice burners or do some productions.
Better than quitting the graf scene or not being active at all!
Thank you!!!
I feel old watching this 🤦🏾♂️ my straight letter was ass back then 😂😂😂😂😂

Back then Graffiti was illegal vandalism and a misdemeanor! Now it's still graffiti and vandalism and a felony.... If you paint art murals like Tat Crew does and get paid and spread positivity then that's cool..If you do it illegally don't get caught that's cool to! ...I really enjoyed this docu...A really great mentoring scheme.. Piece/peace ;)
Cool !!!
NATION OF GRAFFITI ARTIST……….NOGA……founded by Jack …and SAL161

Is that buk50 from bomb the system? The movie???
NYC
It's still in the streets, they just have permission and it all has a more positive outlook for everyone involved. The rush of doing illegal graffiti has a different feeling, however, and that is a feeling I love, but I absolutely agree with promoting it in a legal way and opening up more peoples' eyes to accept and promote it. Thats pretty cool in my opinion. It's not gonna make illegal graff disappear anyways so it will be in the streets regardless, but dont hate on them for bringin positivity
hit chill spots
multihop.tv was here

word but that place seems really cool and i would go to it to learn "fine art" and be safe and shit they seem like really good people, but a lil sticker on a news stand box means more to me then a dope ass peice on a legal wall at the end of the day
Graffiti started as vandalism and most are fine by it
i saw a graffiti riter tags on a kid on youtube
Outlaw crew
i hear u. i dont even fuck with leagal walls. i catch 1 tag a year pretty much so im out the loop. i miss it everyday but if u wanna be a hard head u dont gotta disrespect legal artists. some cats earned that position
ERO-ERO-DROG-DIERS-OERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
K$G CREW
house or car, side of a house, fuckin please nobody bombs that
there is no fucking thing as graffiti being a type of "vandalism" this pisses me off in the intro graffiti is the art of the new generation let it rise and be a part of our lives people think that graffiti is just worthless but shit man fuck that we graffiti artists rule this some what of a world...all people think about is how it is vandalism but people don't think about how much practice or time this takes..."vandalism" is not graffiti, graffiti is the generation of the art form...IZE...representing the my crew TMP!...live life art graffiti
graffitit is vandalism. if you cant accept that, you must be on of those internet writers that keep doing pieces on the side of your mommas wall for uploads online.
graff started in the streets and the vandalism gives you that rush. if you cant admit that, you cant call yourself a bomber
***** I started bombing walls in 1979. I am hip hop. I pioneered the culture. Imagine you telling me what graffiti is. Lol.
To be fair...You HELPED pioneer the culture you did not pioneer it on your own...Peace ;)
If you guys are true graffiti writers when "DIE" said the person who writes american flags on walls....hes referring to Shepard Fairy
Fuck this legal shit, im going out Tooooniggghhhttt Betches!!!
13:02 buk 50 livs
Thank u that aint no bomers
If you pay for your walls and your face ain't blurred in videos, you're in the wrong game son
Word. Graffiti is (at least these days) first and foremost street art. And that means bombing shit that ain't legal. Sorry.
there is no more graffiti in the Bronx...except some rooftops"........
I am a graffiti vandal...fuck free walls
Lol they're actually both vandalism just for one you ask permission like dis is school
I think why this debate still goes on so hard has a lot to do with the fact that when people started making art out of graffiti they chose to keep calling it graffiti and embracing the illegality of it. Legal walls should be described as aerosol or street art. Sure bombing is fun but so is making money doing what u love. Without legal walls it would just be a beautiful worthless skill
toys lol toys
Why? Because writers are getting paid to do what comes natural to them?
No graffiti new york
Gotta let the past go,without legal walls graff would be pretty much dead, real Graff respects graffiti, not the illegality of it..
Legal graffiti is NO graffiti. Legal "graffiti" is just called painting.
all toys
this is not banksy or his style !
lol
When your mouth talks more and lounder then your artwork...
What they are doing is cool, but real graff is going out and bombing.
Legal graffiti is bogus.
This is fucking filth. The difference between graffiti and art is permission. They are not the same. #vandallife
Those flag murals are so cringe
Graffiti started in the streets! Dont try to take it out nd say its not vandalism cuz it is thats the fun about it the adrenaline rush the risk the repetition its illegal ART keep it that way.
@Aaru wates ... He's simply saying that REAL graffiti is illegal & it is vandalism, regardless of how "pretty" it may be! It belongs in the streets!
All the original Tats Cru members were KINGS of the lines back in the day!!
I don't always agree w/ their attitude towards illegal graffiti, but those dudes put in mad work! They're older & making money. That's the way it generally goes.
Even JA (the King of NY) & Skuf, and so many others sell their work,.
If you put in enough work on the streets, you've earned that respect. Most people aren't gonna be going hard in the streets at 50 & 60.
Seamo One And we work w Tats to this day, all it comes down to is permission, which I allow for “vandals” or international artists like Sipros Out program is unique we work with EVERYONE if you need a wall we got u if ur good and u can earn we got you but we just dont want anyone arrested... were IN the streets heavy.... do your homework on the org... 15 years guys!
