I have been able to decipher some of the Hebrew names that have been transposed into European languages. He traces the family of Abraham to the Kwahus from which My father comes. So most of the Patriatical names are still in use to date in Kwahu which I'm very much aware of. These are some examples I am aware of because I have some relatives by those names: Sau (Saul), Apau (Paul) Abreh-Ham (Abraham) which like you said is not his actual name but indicative of his long sojournement. Saka (Isaac). Gyakaboh (Jacob) means idle stone. Siamon (Simone) means buried alive. I was so glad when you confirmed the Amehtope. Do you know that Portipha is a Ewe name as Kportufe?
