@@jlrosenthal1125 I would like to think that they have, I really want to know, but I think they shot it on with a digital, bc some of the highlights are blown away and usually that wouldn't happen on film unless you over expose it like crazy.
julian is super fuckin smart for dipping his finger in this band had adding really good sounds to cult records.

@@lawrence-yx1ew After a deeper exhamination of this video I came up with a result: They did not use film, Today there are a hundreads of LUTs, grain overlays etc to make it look pretty close. You can see those crash zooms, no camera shake, plus the sudden exposure changes all leads to my conclusion. When I saw it for the first time I thought the same and I was hell I need to find a simliar look, I have gotten pretty close, but I am still working out what to do with the shaddows / highlights, I think you gotta go with cold - blue highlights and slightly warmer shaddows and mids. Maybe a bit of Gaussian blur and a nice grainy overlay.

He's still their friend, he said on an interview they still hang out
Yeah, He said that after Chinese fountain he needed a vacation, so he went away and then suddenly he found out that Scott and him were sort of out of the band. It was more like Scott wasnt their drummer and then Stonio didnt really want to be with them without Scott coz they were really in sync he said. But he still talks to all of them and you never know one day might be playing back with them he said.

june 28th, instgram pic of all the boys together playing a show. a month later was he announcement of city club. "could of held out but your clock was ticking" while it shows stonio, stonio looks like he doesnt even know what the fuck is going on at the end. I'm kinda over the fact that scott and stonio are gone now, I'm morso looking for people to discuss it with. I think getting rid of the entire rhythm section was fucked. I know money is the main reason behind it all, people got family to take care of now. I just don't understand the Greasyness, I hope there's more behind the scenes shit. lol
3 years later lol my bad but from what I've researched I think they chose to leave. I remember reading one of them allegedly lost interest in music and decided to start pursuing science... but who knows? I've also heard creative differences contributed to them leaving.

id love to hang out with the growlers just because of all the rape allegations and the drugs but i know the cigarette smoke would drive me away. such a gross smelly habit i did it for awhile but then i moved on through the grave of the lord
i want to say "forget the haters," but you're entitled to your opinion. i love the old albums and i love the new one. however, it took listening to the album three times before i started to like it and eventually love it. it could also be that my perspective just isn't as limited as those who hate on something they probably can't even do themselves.
