LAPEV - Back Bay / Irvine Ride (17 MAR 2024)

Los Angeles Personal Electric Vehicles (LAPEV) host an All-PEV Group Ride in the Newport Back Bay and Irvine areas. The route originates in the Upper Back Bay Trail in Newport Beach and traverses along Back Bay Loop Trail through San Diego Creek and into Irvine. Sites include Back Bay Loop Trail, Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve, Back Bay view Park, San Diego Creek, Culverwood Wilderness Park, Mike Ward Community Park, Sand Canyon Wash, and William R. Mason Regional Park.

Not yet. I rode my Surron on this ride. Will have some free time next week to trouble shoot the Lectric XP to see what’s going on. I plan to take the Surron or Talaria out for any group rides this weekend.

What outfit gear you recommend

I would recommend similar gear used when riding dirt bikes and ATV’s to provide the most protection for speeds at 30mph and above.
