Hi Mark, Will there be a recording for the drop-in sessions and office hours? For some of them I’ll be at work and won’t be able to join. Thanks so much.
All mock exam questions have a video walkthrough. The drop-in sessions and office hours are not recorded. If I do record them, nobody shows up - and then there is nothing to record - and just becomes a waste of everybody’s time.
@@MarkMeldrum I understand your point of view. But recording the drop-in sessions would be useful for students with different time zones.. (7pm ET is 2am in my country). These seem very important and we wouldn’t want to disturb our sleeping schedules this close to the exam. Hope we could find a solution, thank you and best of luck to everyone!
Dr. Mark. I will be starting with Level 3 today with 41 days before the exam. I have the benefit of passing Level 1 and Level 2 in the most recent exam windows, both with 2 months of preparation. I have covered pre-requisite readings thoroughly. I will also be studying full-time for the 41 days. I have bought your Level 3 package. Will watching all those videos and doing all the CFAI questions (along with a couple of mocks) be enough to have a decent shot at passing?
@@ayaanlifts nah bro I fell for a girl and failed the exam. Basically I got heavily distracted. Thought she was the one. Life happened. Broke up last month. Not sure I regret letting my focus shift but yeah. CFA wouldn’t have left me like that. Stay strong bro.
Hey Mark, i have a question that i am sure alot of candidates are suffering from. I am currently enrolled for the august 2022 level1 i am half way though, studying 6 hours a day. Currently i watch your videos and proceed to watch / solve eochq. I have a good understanding of the material, but not great, which means i might score a 50% if i do the exam today. Is it normal that my understanding is basic, and in the last month of review when i do all the questions and proper reinforcements. I will get much better ?
That is correct. If I explain something to you that you have never heard before, you will get a basic understanding, but if I explain something to you that you have heard before, you will gain a deeper understanding. Use the drop-in sessions and the office hours.

@Mark, when you say 35 days for review, how many hours of review per day ?
3hrs. That is basically what it will take to do a mock exam anyways.

With such a short time, passing is purely a function of you.

As you are reading, you come across Example 1, Example 2, etc. Those are them.
