Despite being poor the country looks clean and disciplined unlike some of the largest economies in the world which are said to be regional super power.
As they are poor, they probably don't consume much of package food and also don't have consumerist throw-away culture of culture of rich countries. I am in India. I live in semi rural area were there are lots of plastic waste because of ppl consuming lots of package food like wai wai, chips. But a nearby village is poor and they don't consume these package food and their surrounding is clean. There is no restaurant around. Village ppl just eat their home-cooked food.
Been here in 2007. It’s a beautiful country with extremely happy and friendly people. May be now the situation economically isn’t good in the present times. I hope that things become better for the people once again. Back then the situation was pretty good, poverty of course has unfortunately been a part and parcel of many a countries.

we can't judge anyone by money. Burundi have nice peoples, they have instruction lines on road which India don't have in some parts. Visa process is quite faster than India. we can't judge anyone by money.
