With force feedback and stereo this game would be 100% more spectacular makes me sad that none of that is currently supported, awesome skill by the way!
Outrunners was a unique cabinet... Even though it had a two player cabinet, it had one board that handled both players. And it had one big screen. Basically it was like playing splitscreen. Mame basically cuts off the other side of the screen. So its still looking for challengers because it's technically always possible for a two player game. The cabinet even had the audio for player 1 coming out of the left speaker and the audio for player two coming out of the right. It was like two single cabs in one big cabinet.
That "Winners Don't Do Drugs" screen gave me so much nostalgia.
Great job on that cabinet!!!!!!
Thanks!
Nice setup!
And I also agree with Outrunners being better game than OutRun (just my opinion - and I'm a huge fan of the OutRun)
Thanks buddy!
Me too I used to play with many players in my local mall
Should try the Genesis port. Yeah it’s got flaws but as a spiritual port it works great

you so pro, man
Nice! But I think CRT display will be better
Probably, but it doesn't make the gameplay any different.
Outrunner better than outrun !!
I agree!
Why does it still say "Waiting For Challengers" even with a single cab?

single screen mode? how ?!
I play it using MAME, just press TAB and go into the screen settings and you can change it to show screen 1 or 2 or both...
we're did you get the arcade from
I built it.
@@chubbyboy2242 That's awesome, my brother and I are currently in the process of building our own. How much did it cost once it was all said and done?
thx for this nostalgic moment. Originally the screen is 16:9??
Its one of the options in Mame so I think it was an option in one of the versions...
