Oh dear, poor Finn. He's going on Santa Paws naughty list 😹 Cats just do what the heck they want to - mine are exactly the same. On the whole, I think it's a nice box. I love the books. I have The Old Magic Of Christmas and it is interesting. The sound of your bell is fantastic and I love the sound as it dissipates. 🔔🎄💜

OMG finally! I feel like I've been waiting a lifetime for someone to upload this unboxing! I bought the 3 main boxes for this month and being in Canada it near broke the bank so no way I even tried for the deluxe box. One of my boxes even got slapped with a tax & duty fee😢 Thank you!
I just ordered moon and bounty for next month. Do you mind me asking what one you got hit with for duties so I know what I'm looking at as I'm also from canada. I'm pretty sure I know what one it was but I'm worried as I recently ordered 5 sub boxes
I got mine this morning finally! The bell scared my 2 cats half to death. 😂 It is a nice LOUD one! The deck is really nice too and I really love the books they chose. I was worried about my reindeer being broken but it arrived in tact fortunately. Hope you were able to glue yours back on!
I wish their sabbat boxes were more themed. It seems like they add just a bunch of misc items. Not to say that the misc items are not fun or cool, I wish it all tied together more. For example, I love Krampus, they could have done the whole box of Krampus items. To make it super awesome, they could have gotten small handmade/traditional wooden Krampus masks from Austria. That's why I stopped getting their sabbat boxes... BTW, you were cracking me up with the cat! So funny! I feel like I'm hanging out with a friend when I watch your videos.
Wow. Your crystal is so pretty. Such a beautiful light blue color. Mine was more darker in hue. And I don't know what to do with the wood and metal piece.
I almost bought this box but I got the Nine of Earth box instead and I’m in on the krampus joke haha I didn’t want to comment yet until I get mine but I thought that this box was cool I’m happy they included a crystal compared to NOE but this box is much more than the other one and you don’t have blue apatite that’s good to know I tumbled a lot of it so I can share some with you haha 💙 I had a feeling that I was gonna have some of the items again and I have the bell but mine is smaller it’s a beautiful sound healing bell you can use the striker like a singing bowl and you hold the other metal piece in your hand to represent duality, balance, ect but the tarot is definitely gonna be so cute with the other deck I got scared because I was like I hope she didn’t get the same deck! lol but no thankfully they’ll compliment each other nicely 💙✨❄️🎄 so much Yuletide goodness and loved the deer incense holder and the glass jar of mistletoe that was adorable too ! The Apatite ( "helps to clear and strengthen the throat charkra, which helps to heal the heart and open the mind to spiritual guidance") stone looks like glacial ice, it's beautiful, love the books and tarot, really all of it.😊
I'm loving the card exchange, thank you so much! The mail this time of year can be so frustrating. I had one package go from LA to New York then back to me in Arizona. I love the bell, the tarot deck and apatite. I never thought of getting mistletoe, that will be great for Yule rituals.
FYI, the Tibetan bell and dorje go together. Traditionnally in Tibetan budhism, you always keep these item close to one another (actually, they should be touching when you're not holding them). If you look at Tibetan imagery of Budhas, you'll often see them holding a dorje in one hand and a bell in the other. Unfortunately, I don't remember which hand is which but I know that there's a specific side for holding each of them. If I remember well, traditionally, we always hold the dorje in one hand while sounding the bell with the other (again, I don't remember the correct side for each...) While the Dorje symbolizes truth (I think there's more to it than that but I'd have to look it up in my books to remember), the bell symbolizes emptiness, both these concepts combined form what is needed to achieve enlightenment. Sounding the bell while meditating on the true nature of things allows us to connect better with the concept of emptiness (which is the true nature of things according to buddhism) because of the inherent nature of sound (something intangible and fleeting, that we can experience but not see). I don't think the wooden striker and the dorje go together, at least I've never seen it assembled like that (but I might be wrong). Hope you find this info helpful! There's a lot more to the symbology of these items than what I said here, but this is just what I could remember on top of my head from years of practicing buddhism in the past (it's been a long time though).

@rjohnson525 it was the bounty and the duty was $25. It's random though so it's not a guarantee that you will be charged

No it’s not supposed to go in the striker. It’s a Tibetan tradition. The Dorje Vajra is an amulet or you can wear it as a pendant.
I have that book and her Beltane book called “A night of the witches”
