Mathematically speaking Avatar is better than Overlord but DOT duration being doubled is basically useless because DOT effects reset upon another hit.

DOT effect doesnt reset upon another hit, after DOT is over it has a 3-5 seconds cooldown before another DOT.

The reason overlord is sooo good on sukuna is because sukuna originally has 1 placement so it essentially only gets the buffs making overlord the best on sukuna

I have overlord sukuna with max damage of 404k and a bleed damage of 316k damag and moreover the DOT is exactly finished with just 3 seconds of his attacks which makes his attacks have Bleed unlike AVATAR. Avatar sukuna max damage is 243k but idk his bleed damage but overlord sukuna outdamages avatar sukuna
