Yes it will work on fabric. There will be some differences - as the amount of paint you need will vary based on the fabric and how much it absorbs. Depending on the fabric, you may want to use scrap paper on top of it (after you place it on the gel plate). Paint may bleed through the fabric.

I have to pull out my gelli plate and use it. I’ve had it for a few years but haven’t opened it. I need to make some space to play with it for awhile
It's easy to get lost while printing - it's just the initial set up that takes a while.
