- I LOVED this game so freakin much!! My only big complaint was that the combat difficulty was extremely easy and not enough enemy variety put in especially early game. The game mechanics are INCREDIBLY fun and I adored the story!! Thank you guys for watching!

Yes, I'm playing Persona 3 Reload. Somewhere in the realm of April and will be doing a really fun, uncapped subathon event for the game. I will be posting about it later for more details on that, but it's happening after I finish playing FF7 Rebirth and Unicorn Overlord!

29:48 The reason why the Third Kingdom is stuck at twilight is because Nakabachi pushed Eri onto the tracks at exactly 6:00 pm. That moment traumatised Toshiro and he was unable to move on... until now. Accepting his past meant that he could start moving on, hence the clock starting to tick.
Tactica isn't Joker's story, it's Toshiro's. That's why he's a permanent party member once he awakened his Persona.
I do love Tactica but man…

28:27 - To be fair, literally every Shadow Self but Shido’s has a thematic gimmick outfit. Kamoshida wears a king cape and speedo, Madarame is decked out in ornate gold and white face makeup, Kaneshiro is a white-suited banker with purple skin, Futaba dusted off an Egyptian princess cosplay, Okumura has green skin decked in sci-fi gear that looks like Benny the Spaceman tried to cosplay Darth Vader, and Sae is covered in an elaborate tattoo her real self would never dream of getting. Shadow Toshiro looking like normal ass Toshiro the whole time is quite the shock by comparison.
Honestly it reminds me of persona 4, but he is split. Hes still unwilling to accept himself, but is willing to stand up against others… which is why he gets a mask to tear off, but not a phantom thief suit
29:46 don’t know if it gets mentioned in stream, but the reason the clock is stuck at 6(or 18:00) is because that was the time of her injury when he couldn’t save her. Since he was able to save her time began to move forward as he could move on.
5:00 - Fun fact, that’s the second one-person All-Out Attack in franchise history. The first was Joker himself in the opening cutscene of Q2. Though if we stretch the definition of “one” person, then Lavenza in Royal would be the actual second.
Lavenza is one person though. She was just split into two identities.
Ernesto Che Guevara was definitely not on my bingo card of what his rebel persona will be in this game especially a real life historical figure who died relatively recently in the last 100 years
Also while looking up salmael the way uts spelled doesn't bring up anything in religion/mythology (or really anything in general besides this game) samael which is spelled/sound similar is said to be another name of the demiurge in gnostism

I like the chibi style in this game. Not too simple like PQ, but stylized in a way that's cute but can be serious when it needs to be.
It's kinda like it everyone looked like Morgana but it actually worked

I've watched other streamers who correctly guess things and get MAD that the game was so predictable?? Instead of being PROUD they are so well-versed in the genre that they CAN predict the next thing. So, thank you Crystaahhl for holding onto that joy :)
0:55 - This reminds me of a Comics Anthology where the Phantom Thieves started hanging out after Joker left and Haru was working at Leblanc because Joker suggested she take up a job for practical experience in her… was it Rank 9 or Rank 10? Anyways, Haru working under Sojiro in her pursuit of running her own small time cafe and putting up with Futaba has always been a fun mental image, so the framing here just tickles my fancy.
The side mission where you have to complete your objective in one turn is my favorite.

My art school experience just triggered when I heard Guernica or Guernica the painting that Picasso made out of his disgust at what happened in the city of Geneva. He painted it for the Geneva Convention or maybe around the time it was being made.

Tactica was fun but I had trouble finishing it because it was so predictable. I was actually getting pretty bored. Only thing I didn't really predict early on was Erina being a persona vs just getting her own eventually. Loved your main comment about adult characters. I think it's the biggest problem in JRPGs and anime, but I get it for the sake of "target audience". I still think P5 is the only one that really suffers for it. The rest work well enough, but 5 really needed to not be centered around High school since it actually involved total society and governance. Glad you seemed to enjoy this so much.

Kinda sad that this was sorta cramed into one episode. I mean I get it, it's a relatively short game but man I enjoyed this game and just wanted to see a lil more. :/. Great video all the same!!!!!❤

@@supernerd8067 Susanne Blakeslee, who voices the antagonist of the DLC. I just checked her Wikipedia article, and she’s got a Laundry list of roles to go through (some of which caught me off guard).

Great call doing hard mode. I put it on normal and it was too easy. Put it on hard for the DLC campaign and feels much better.
My personal thoughts on this game is that I really really liked the story, but maybe it's because I haven't played alot of tactics games, usually I like strategy type games, but the gameplay felt a bit of a slog to play through myself. Could also be that the only real gameplay was the battles. I liked in Strikers where you'd still go explore around the world outside of the metaverse, but we didn't really get that.
Overall, gameplay was fun at first, but became a slog to play through later, but story was really nice!

Not gonna lie the awakening was cool but the fact his persona is gender bent Che Guevara is hilarious and so tone deaf I couldn’t help but laugh lmao. Also I won’t stand for the Sumire slander.
As always I’m glad you’re one of the few prominent Persona fans that asks for adults in the next game and I always appreciate that.
i recomend tactica 100 percent the sotry is s plus and gameplay is amazing to its a truly great addition the the series
I just finished the DLC last night, and I liked Guernica's story and the new mechanic well enough (the battle themes really added to the experience for me), but well, let me put it like this:
Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable are both currently listed on Steam as being $27.99, and I had to pay about $30 including tax; sure P4G and P3P probably would have cost a bit more than it with tax, but those are full ass games, while this is ultimately 6-8 hours of extra content (plus being able to have Akechi and Kasumi as units in the main game, but most people probably would have beaten the game before playing the DLC I think)

I predicted a lot of things you did too, and made the same jokes you did as well, except that my predictions, once proven right were followed by "Game, I was joking!", and yes, the DLC story, should of been base game included, i agree, there wasn;t enough there to make it worth the price.

I went through the fourth kingdom finishing off the bosses with Toshiro for the Thematic Appropriateness(TM), but he got knocked out at the beginning of Salmael's phase 2 so I couldn't use him there; I _was_ able to finish it off with Erina though, and that _basically_ counts, right???
The dlc is just tactics x splatoon lol, I honestly really enjoyed it

A kingdom takes roughly 15-25 to go through 15-20 flat if you know what your doing I love tactica but I’m not paying over $20 for almost 30 minutes of gameplay
Wait doesn't the DLC starring the Royal characters takes place after Royal? If so it makes me super happy that Joker did reunite with Akechi at some point, but now they have to make another P5 game to show how they reunite, like seriously I CANT AND WILL NOT SLEEP UNTIL MY FAVORITE PERSONA GAY COUPLE GETS BACK TOGETHER AND HAS SOME PANCAKES-
The Rpyal Trio DLC takes place during Sae's palace, same as Q2
It's why Akechi has his "princely" personality instead of 3rd semester (plus Robin Hood and not Loki), why Akechi and Kasumi didn't know the other had a persona at the beginning, and why they have amnesia after leaving the Streets (to prevent it from messing with Royal's events)
