Hi David, i think it's time to go crazy & put on the new SRAM Red. Put it on 1x & ditch the handlebar & stem for a CADEX integrated race handlebar.... oh maybe some crankbrothers eggbeater 11 to weanie all the way.

Hi David, I'm upgrading my TCR SL0 ready for the hill climb season. I've just got 1x with a 40t SRAM red chain ring. The sram red cranks are a lot lighter than the rival too. Also the favero pedals are a good lightweight upgrade. The wheels are pricey upgrade but if money was no object they're a great option. Great video
I'm with the cheap seats on this one: moulded carbon spoke wheels from Cadex and Syncros grabbed my attention and garnered great reviews, but so too have carbon spoked offerings from Elite, Lun and CRW, which, if I drink the cool aide, will also ride my bike up the pass for me and land me a bucket load of PRs, all while lining my jersey pockets with $3k in change.
Was about to ask the same question. I put Winspace Hypers on my 2012 Cervélo R5 which completely transformed the bike. I also have the 2022 TCR that David has in this vid, so I’d love to see if the Hypers on the TCR perform better than the Giant carbon SLR2’s that came with the bike.
