Those 80's Hondas where great. My first 2 stroke was a 87 CR 80 my buddy took all apart and couldn't put it back together. I bought it for $100.00 that's right 1 bill of Christmas Money. I had to buy a piston and ring for about $40.00. Rode my bike a bicycle to the local dealer about 5 miles each way to get the parts and gaskets. Worked all night with another buddy to put it all back together on a Saturday Night to get it running. We were 14. We had never done it before but I had some magazine's. That would have been about 1989. Always wanted a 2 stroke 3 wheeler
I've got a soft spot for the air cooled 250Rs. They're just fast enough to be sketchy.
Man I wish I still had my tri-z 250. I miss the old girl. Watching this 250r rip brings back so many childhood memories. She's a sweet machine bud!
Fun too see an old 83R with a 300kit on here. Ive got one sitting in the garage. Sounded good after it warmed up

Had an 83 , my 84 was badass , then ....then the 1985 I had was wicked....80mph was now problem with the 6 speed transmission
But , they all 3 hurt me ....collar bones , ribs , etc.
Looking back , I loved the pain that's why I had 3 of em .
Till I got my 86 trx , 28yrs ago she's a beautiful bike . Show floor model now , I went to the Talon sxs
That head light mount looks like some old school Baja stuff with the big twin KC Highlighters or something. I dig it.

3 raptors 700 1 yfz450 1 trx450r aaaaaall got walked on by my buddies 84 250r with just a pipe one year when we were all riding back to camp late at night on a dirt back road. That buddy reminds us all everytime we are all together. Those old 2 strokes ain't nothing to sleep on.

I love seeing the faces of the pretty people at the dunes with their matching gear and UGG boots when I roll thru. No body wants to get spanked by a washed up punk rocker with a beer gut and a sleeveless T shirt riding a 3 wheeler. But i make it happen.

dude my buddy has got my first ride a 86 Yamaha 200e 3 wheeler and I sold it to him in 2005 and still has sane air in tires and fires up first pull every pull
