    Hi I'm from England and finding it hard to buy a good machine this video has helped but still don't really wanna spend loads of money until i understand what I'm buying. Tattoo machines are hard to shop for because it's not like you can just choose a good make like a pair of shoes! Any help would be sound!

      Well, this really depends on your budget, and what part of the world you want your machines. i know the conversion kills from over seas to US, so thats a problem, I do know a guy in the UK, email me and I'll drop his name..he is 100% pro build at decent prices...straight up get the job done machines though...cheaper than those fricken WorkslutIrons guys...

    Interesting, & Happy Birthday Kage, As for the Chinese Frames Some are junk Some are Quality! CNC MACHINED, CAST, WIRE CUT FRAMES, CAN'T FUCK UP CNC MACHINED, HARD TO FUCK UP CAST & WIRE CUT! YOU TYPICALLY HAVE TO PURCHASE A MACHINE & REBUILD IT!
    Replacing the Coils, Springs & either modifications to the Armature Bar or replacing it! You can drill out the frame 1/4 " bit to accept U.S. HARDWARE. or just use the hardware if it is good alot of it is good!
    You can purchase a Chinese Cast Machine & rebuild it! FACT a Lot of Pros in SHOPS HAVE CHINESE MACHINES REBUILT!
    I have an example in my AMAZON.COM REVIEWS of a Heat Treated Walker Style Frame.. The Whole Machine was aprox $6 QUALITY MACHINE FRAME, Just Replacing The Coils, Springs, The Armature Bar is Good for Shading or a Sculpting Liner. The Frames Geometry is that of a Shader... Even if you purchase a set of prewired COILS with a Capacitor, $25 average, Springs $2 to $4 each X 2 front & back! * So That's say $6 Total That's $31 in Replacement Parts! + The Original Machines Cost $6 That Equals $37 Total! Cheap for a custom built machine... built by YOU For The Way You Tattoo Not How Some Guru Thinks You Should. Typically You can Rebuild a Coil Machine for under $50 Total Investment! FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS HOW TO'S. PDF'S, VIDEOS, LINKS ALL FREE! LOG ON TO AMAZON.COM, THEN GO TO MY REVIEWS, ALL PACKED WITH EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION LINKS TO. FREE VIDEOS FREE PDF'S FREE E-BOOKS,..
    Log on to ~ AMAZON.COM * NEXT Type in Search Box ~
    √ { Moms Black Pearl Outlining Tattoo Ink } * Next Look For My Review By My Name ☆ { BILL KEARNEY } ☆ Next Click on My Review, Then Click on My Name to See all my reviews or CLICK ON ALL REVIEWS BY THIS PERSON! ☆ The Review With The Heat Treated Walker Style Cast Frame, tons of information.
    Additionally if you can Wrap Your Own Coils Make The Cores out of 1018 Steel or a Lower Carbon Steel Like 12L14 or 1010 or 1117 for example. A Lower Carbon Steel will not have as much Residual Magnetic Flux Build Up ! { Best For Longer Tattoo Secessions } 24 Gauge Enamel Coated Copper Wire! Or Thicker 22 Gauge to have less resistance, again longer tattooing secededs or LARGER NEEDLE GROUPINGS BENEFIT FROM THIS.. { SEE ~ COILDADDY.COM } For More Information, UNDERSTANDING OHMS!! IMPORTANT...
    You could Stuff the coil cores on some Chinese Coil Machines with STEEL WOOL, This Fills The Void & increases Conductivity!
    AGAIN SEE MY REVIEWS ~ LOOK AT VIDEOS DISC 1 & DISC 2 LINK IN MY REVIEW OR ON MY ☆ GOOGLE PLUS ☆ Page! Just Click My Icon in te UA-cam Review ~ go to my GOOGLE PLUS PAGE, You may have to do some searching scroll down tons of videos.. but worth it.
    The Chinese Typically Not ALL CHINESE MANUFACTURERS BUT MOST USE GARBAGE METAL, Which is a combination of different scrap metals that are combined.. JUNK. For Coil Cores! They use 26 Gauge Aluminum or Copper Coated Aluminum Wire #1 its to Thin it breaks easily during tear down & reassembling the machine! #2 Aluminum is a Poor Conductor of Electricity.. SOME CHINESE COILS ARE HAND WOUND! The Plastic Bobbins Take More Volts to Energize Coils Then Does A Spray Coating Like A FireArms Coating ~ Dura Coat, or a Spray Material For Coating Electrical Components like Coil Cores.. Available at Automotive Centers ... Kapton Tape IMO is Over Priced, Not as Good as WATER PROOF HOUSE WRAP TAPE LIKE DuPont's Tyvek House Wrap Tape. Some Builders Use Teflon Tape or Water Proof Plastic Packing Tape! As for Shellac or Varnish I personally prefer MARINE VARNISH, Extremely Durable. & You Do Not Have To Shrink Wrap Th Coils After! Cool old School Look . Heat Shrink Wrapped & Varnish See My Google Plus Page for Videos of Coils being wrapped! Washers IMO ANY INSULATING MATERIAL, I USE ACRYLIC ,LEXAN, Also Plastic Bottle Caps Cut & Drilled out! Again See My Google Plus Page Videos of Coil Washers being made ~ Phenolic Washers are what you typically see. It is just Circuit Board Material... NOT NECESSARY..
    COIL CORES See above 1018, 1010, 12L14, 1117 etc.. FREE BOLTS WITH A SMOOTH COLLAR BEFORE THE THREADS.. IMPORTANT NO THREADS IT NEEDS TO BE SMOOTH! COST FREE OR A FEW PENNIES.
    Armature Bars 1018 Flat Iron... make your own see My Google Plus Page.. or purchase $3 to $10 each typically $6 each.
    Springs cut your self out of Feeler Gauge Stock or IMO STEEL COIL STOCK .. With Steel Coil Stock you have a conversation chart to convert the DIALCALIBER READING INTO GAUGES.. Cut your self pennies each see My videos on My Google Plus Page how to.
    . or Purchase $4 each pre done high end.
    The STAMPED FRAME YOU HAD IN THE VIDEO IS STAMPED OUT CUT & BENT IN ONE STEP MAKES HUNDREDS OF FRAMES AT A TIME. See CMT OR THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL, AMERICAN CHOPPER.. OCC, THE BECKMAN PRESS.
    STAMPING IS FUBARBED FOR FRAMES..
    AGAIN MOST CHINESE ROTARY'S ARE GOOD TO GO OUT OF THE BOX. THEY TYPICALLY USE { MABUCHI MOTORS. } WHICH IS THE SAME BRAND OF ROTARY MOTOR IN MOST NAME BRAND MACHINES!
    WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS THE STROKE LENGTH For Liner Shader Color Packer, like Coils.. with coils you have OHMS, & NUMBER OF WRAPS. OHMS IS IMPORTANT... WITH ROTARY'S IT'S. { R.P.M.'S }
    TYPICALLY A 6,000 to Say 9,000 RPM is considered small DEPENDS! & A
    10,000 to 14,000 RPM IS CONSIDERED LARGE .. Small Liner to Shader Large COLOR PACKER.. DRIVING LARGER NEEDLE GROUPINGS.
    THE ROTARY'S BODIES ARE CNC MACHINED CANT FUCK IT UP SEE AMERICAN CHOPPER PJD DID A BUILD FOR FARO ARM THEY MAKE A SCANER SCAN A PART IT MAPS IT OUT TO BE REPRODUCED!
    OR THE BODIES ARE CAST AGAIN HARD TO FUCK UP!
    DHGATE.COM AMAZON.COM GOOD SOURCES.
    Take Care Kage Good Video I believe it will help alot of people!

      Joseph Vargas Lining with a rotary is tricky if you are used to the counter wieght of a coil machine. I recomend shading first with them to get used to it. They pack color and whip shade very well.

    It's so fucked up that we need to pay the SHOPPIES 5g or work for them to become a apprentice when i can tatt just as good or better .... but for our passion we need to pay up the ass.. Ive been tatting for only 5 months and i went around to a couple shops showing my work and drawings .. some of the artists were nice but as soon as they asked how long have you been tatting for I would say i just started but i can learn fast they laugh like its a joke and they say it would take months to a year for your first tatt in my shop and money or labor even one of the guys said hey I'll tatt your work on you for a discount that's what made me pissed so all i can do is buy Chinese machines when you get your business up kage i will buy all your equipment ..

    • @Creeightism
      @Creeightism 9 років тому

      The tatt shops charge because they gotta pay taxes an buy expensive supplies, more supplies. That's why shops charge, they have to pay. No body "wants" to pay all this stuff but it goes into the cost of running a business. It sucks to deal with thE IRS but... That's the way it's gotta be. The city too. If you open your shop then you'll see the cost the city make you pay or else. You may not know but if your living in any large city, tattooing is illegal if you don't have all the liscences and permits. Tattooing shouldn't be just about making money. Money break your door down if you are good, good. The government will too if you are that good too. Just a grown up way to view by a quick reply

    do you mean CHINESE MACHINE can't do WELL in the hands of PROFESSIONAL? YOU CAN DO ALL IF YOU ARE A PRO, RIGHT? DO YOU MEAN PROS WILL SPOIL "ANY" TATTOO?WHEN USING CHINESE MACHINE? OR "EVERY" ARTIST "MUST" USE A REAL MACHINE IN ORDER TO PERFORM WELL?

    tattooing is illegal if the proper registration, training, TAXES, liscence, and permits are not acquired (you have to have them). tattooing illegally can land the tattooer in the pinitentary or jail. no body wants to go to prison, stuffing all kind of burritos in your....

      Ab300 a new law 2012 I think (the year). The police have the right to show they funky azz take your tattoo equiptment and if it's the 4th time (the artist with no record) the pin. The judge can now act very stupid with a tattooer with a record. So, I would like you to make a video of the tattooers who think nothing of the law and find it disrespectful in jail after they told Big Mike to not do that.

    • @KageYacha
      @KageYacha  9 років тому

      Brian Glapion you can make the video bro. People shoot n kill people, slang dope, Rob cheat n steal, really think tattooing in the confines of one's home is going to stop? No. I'll tell you how to fix this however...proper education and supply of proper tools. But thank you for your opinions...

    • @henryhammond733
      @henryhammond733 8 років тому

      +Brian Glapion Gambling at home is illegal in Alabama as well. Home games can get you 2 years in prison. 4 people playing a game of friendly holdem. The thing is just because a law is in place does not mean they are enforced. Its illegal to spit on the sidewalk, eat an ice cream cone while walking down the sidewalk, and to curse in public places in Alabama buyt when was the last time anyone was arrested for these charges? Come on man

    • @menotyou1597
