Hi Scotty, very nice project. Especially your EV conversion. I saw also UA-cam vids where people build their own battery packs for a photo voltaic system. They spend awefull amount of time for testing and sorting the cells. The Key issue seems to have an effecient battery management System and a balancing system. It will get very nasty when one cell pass away and spoil the whole block. I will stay tuned and whish you good progress and a lucky hand as we say here.
The original 2 liter motor put out 67 HP. Despite the fact that the electric motor puts out 32 HP continuous, if you put 1000 amps into it, you can get almost 200 HP. So it will push it.
