Players still debate to this day over the combat changes, elytras and people often say that the end update wasn't enough. No matter what you think of these changes, you have to admit they split the community to this day, and a large part of the multiplayer scene is still on 1.8 because they dislike the combat changes.

I usually hear people talk about 1.9 as controversial, adding OP features like the Elytra and changing the combat system which has lead some servers (Hypixel etc…) to keep it before 1.9. Maybe instead you could talk about the success of the Nether update which is nearly liked by every player. Also, in one video could you talk about the abandoned combat snapshots?

Yeah, terraria is better in most aspects. Even when I play minecraft I install mods that make it closer to it(twilight forest, AOA, artifacts).
