It's really bittersweet that Oddworld came back but the original vision for what would have been the Quintology has been lost.
    What would they have been?
    1. Abes Oddysee
    2. Munch's Oddysee
    3. Squeek's Oddysee?
    4. ???
    5. ???
We will never know what the true vision would have looked like.

They're going to try their best to get back some of that vision with soulstorm, but it'll probably have new things the original vision didn't have. If this game does well, however, the rest of the games they planned to make will most likely have the original creative vision.

I guarantee it will be better. The concept for Squeek sounded genuinely awful and lacking depth beyond a few puzzles. Besides the concept of a head that can hop in different bodies has already been done in game's like dead head fred. Abe building as a messiah is much more compelling and adding new characters like Munch can't be hamfisted.

Lorne says A.L.I.V.E. Engine was bad and clunky and hard to use, but to be honest I think it has a future, people love retro games and I would love to see a new OW game on that old engine or fan made content.
