4:40 yep, actually accurate. the reason why veigar is "evil" or trying to be is because he was isolated in the immortal bastion which was built by mordekaiser, another champion in league who was a warlord from noxus in life and basically league of legend's lich king in death (even more powerful than viego even though viego is barely a lich king). i think you should take a look at his lore, mogwai. he's such a sick champion.

ur pretty much right however im fairly sure mordekaiser predates Noxus by at least 1 or 2 thousand years, he didnt capture veigar until his 2nd resurrection which was still a few centuries before the runewars, if i remember correctly. and I may be wrong but im pretty sure mordekaiser predates viegos entire living empire by some time as well

I love Gnar. Freljord really needed a champion like Gnar. Gnar is to freljord as Draven is to Noxus or Zoe to targon. It’s extremely good and splash-able.
I'm glad his lvl up requirement isn't strickily tied to transforming allies. He could've been another veigar.
I’d even move to call him an Freljordian Elise, but yesh, Zoe is definitely the best comparison. Plus, now we have the 1, 2, 3, 4 squadron.
Likely getting nerfed tbh.
I mean, back in the day Sej was considered to be extremely splashable to the point of being one of the main reasons to run Freijord.

At this point I can't tell if Mogwai's calling it "Formation" as a joke or because he genuinely doesn't know it's called formidable.
I think it's probably the combination of trying to concentrate on multiple things at once whilst playing & recording, coupled with the fact that it's new and the name is second nature to say yet (in his second language).

An thats it, everything else is in bandle, all the keywords, poke, protection, aoe clear, aoe buff, stun, burn.
Feels like 70% of the decks I run into have bandle in it, just because bandle has everything.

While I understand that it feels a bit stupid, it is literally their design philosophy for bandle. It's the region that has ties to every other region, so they print cards for them that fit with a bunch of different themes.
Bandle is supposed to be the best faction tho. Like just good neutral cards.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the balance changes. Few as they are, I think they're gonna hit the meta decks hard, especially Ahri Kennen. And of course, looking forward to what you'll do with the nerfed cards now that they're "edgy".

I honestly want to see what dragon decks can do with the new dragon in this expansion. I`m tired of dragon decks just being Shyvana and like one more dragon, then put all the Pantheon package and call it a day.
Tbf it’s mostly just pantheon and wounded white flame from the pantheon package (which is the entire package tbh)… the proper shyv pantheon deck runs dragon’s chow, dragon’s clutch, and 1-3 screeching dragons on top of shyv and WWF, so it’s definitely more a dragon deck than a pantheon deck… you just run him as a secondary win con.

So, great idea, and the deck can be really good if you have the right hand and facing the right opponents.
I played 4 games to practice first and ended up 2-2, then went to ladder and had a very good start going 4-1, but then just started losing all the games where the opponent had overwhelm, paper dragon or Yummi... ended up the night with 4-5.
If you don't get Gangplank leveled up fast and if you don't draw your champions, it's really hard to win.
Sure, you can push for a lot of initial damage with your small units, but the deck runs out of gas really fast, and if the other guy has ways of controlling your big turns, it's pretty much over.
Nice idea and deck for day 1 though. I'm a big fan Mogwai, keep up the good work!! =)
7:10 you should use multi-track in OBS for audio recording in .mp4 files, u get the game sound on its own track and your voice in another, pretty cool stuff

Giga Gromp is a round end effect, Yuumi is a round start, always gotta check this stuff.

There is also the possibility that they never decided to look at the gigs gromp effect.

If you play Soraka with the Formidable support card and Out of the Way, does it just grant her Formidable and the health buff indefinitely? It would, right? That could be cool.

I wouldn't be that suprised if gnar lost 1 attack, and his levelled form traded quick attack for impact. Thematic and weaker, but still strong enough I think.

Also, I've gotten back to Runeterra after a long while now, and is it just me or are the new animations kinda stiff and a little underwhelming? Especially compared to the Shiruma era ones.
We’ll be getting a roadmap some time this week that might give us some insight into who’s coming in the near future… but there are only a handful of yordles left in the game, corki is one of them (though not any time soon, that plane is arcade anivia).

@@spoopyd.8910 yeah, one of the skins that riot is releasing tomorrow is arcade anivia which is a LoR exclusive (also got some heavy starfox vibes)… it’s actually a really good looking skin among the best in the game tbh.

Yo sivir gnar midrange could be good...the pokey sticks gnar creates add incredible value plus he levels super easy enabling absolver
