@nancymccormick7567 I don't think you'll be disappointed 😊. The other formulas are amazing too. Do you feel the price is really worth it? The lipsticks are pretty but I just cannot see in what world a lipstick would be worth £49/$59. It is more expensive than YSL, than Westman Atelier. I feel like brands now feel they can raise their prices and we don't call them out anymore; it just feels like total price gouging.
$48 is fine, however, I wish for the holidays they released smaller versions at a cheaper price. Most people will never make it through the pan of eyeshadow so to me it isn’t so much the cost as wasteful.
I don't think they could do that. They'd have to design a smaller package and then buy the machinery and parts to produce that smaller package for the limited run and then there would be a little less product and would have to charge as much if not more. If someone loves and will use them, they should buy them. If not, don't. A lot of us over buy things. Expensive items will always exist.
For some people like me, the issue is not that the product itself is expensive but the fact that we use too little of it. You can be willing to invest in something super pretty and of high quality even if you won't use it everyday. My issue is how wasteful it becomes when we hardly use the product. I buy minis but I can't even finish those 😅
Oh wow! I was so ready to be skeptical at the black lipgloss when you made that first swipe, I actually gasped. I wish this was available where I live.
I can't make a comparison to the Isamaya since I don't own it, but the Rituel de Fille plumping [lie - it doesn't have any tingle or sting to it] lip oil in "Blackthorn" is the best black glossy product I've ever used. If they're available in your country, maybe you can try that!
I think the Frosty palette from Colourpop is so cute and really hits Americans in the feels since these cartoons are everywhere. Everyone here knows Frosty and/or some iteration of his story, be it from old movies, new movies, or picture books. They were aiming for Americans with this one and I think it's a hit!❤
This is also why people should keep their receipts when purchasing makeup, and feel ZERO shame when returning the items if they don't live up the the price tag or expectations! Hmm, that dark lip gloss would definitely appeal to a lot of people, which might make it worth the price tag. I'm surprised at how dark it looks... hopefully the color lasts for the customers who purchase it!

Saw a pretty good takedown of the 'pure pearl' argument; apparently there's a ton of mica in them. I'm sticking with my stunning canmake and Missha shimmer shadows!
The main ingredient is calcium aluminium borosilicate, which is a sort of dry, ‘glassy’ bulking agent; then mica. I’m not sure what he meant by saying that they were made with ‘pure pearl’ (but then there are a lot of other ingredients which I’m not familiar with, so I don’t know.) The effect I’ve seen in videos doesn’t seem like something you couldn’t get with other shadows though, so it’s a no from me

The company that has OUTRAGEOUS prices is Nudestix. If you look at the grams/ounces/size compared to all the other powder eye/face products you’ll fall off your chair with the price comparisons. It’s too bad because I do want to like them. Also nothing they release is ever cool toned which is annoying. Anyway thanks Robert cool vid!
My thoughts exactly!!! We've 100% seen less for more and people seem okay with those prices and have even called them holy grails before.... so two for $48 from a luxury brand is pretty on brand 🤷🏻♀️
but that doesn't make it okay! this Patrick ta situation should be eye opening instead of us being like, oh others do it for more expensive. Merit is hella overpriced. come on now.
And I wouldn’t buy any of them 😂 I used to occasionally buy UD when they were one of the only companies making bold shadows that were good quality that you could find relatively easily, but there’s no reason to now. I’m either going affordable brands or if I’m gonna splurge it would be an indie brand with ethical engagement
Half Magic Beauty also has single shadows for $23. Indy brands have a lot more overhead, and when they're made in places like Italy, with hard to make formulas or hard to make colors, I understand the price.
These brands have established their reputation over DECADES, legitimately earning the consumer’s trust. They’ve proved their quality and service, definitely edged their prices over time to current egregious cash grab levels, which they are leveraging based on years of that brand building groundwork. I never heard of Patrick Ta before this (genius marketing) scandal and it seems he’s been very successful for a fairly new brown-owned brand. However this individual in a bubble of popularity that does not yet translate to a household global brand does not in any way compare to all these brands that are being touted with a literal false equivalence. The imposter syndrome is real, he’s trying to act like Pat McGrath but with none of the foundation - she was revered for profound talent and experience before he was born. It’s bold for anyone to put a product out at this price point and if they do they better be extraordinary and impeccable, especially for a newcomer. Which they are not, coming along amongst criticisms of mould on other products. He hasn’t earned the fee as much as he has the pushback, the sense of greed and misunderstanding their consumer attracted more attention than shimmery mica slurry.
Those Patrick Ta eyeshadows are insanely expensive and I almost nearly brushed them off but then I saw two videos of people using them and was immediately sold. The price truly has me messed up but they look so freaking good. If I could buy them as a single eyeshadow I would for sure.
I love fun colors like this & use them every day so it’s actually kind of nice to see. I’d use that pink all over my face but I always wait until things are on sale.
I would suggest trying the Wycon Visionary eyeshadows. They are nearly identical and come in a wider range of shades. They are manufactured in italy and are a fraction on the price. I purchased both products and ended up returning the PT eyeshadows. Wycon lasted all night, easily blended, and didn’t have a problem with creasing as the night went on like the PT eyeshadows. They are available for 13.50 in the UK and the US.
Omg that black lip gloss from Isamaya Beauty 😍😮🖤 If they can pull that off I wish they’d do one more that had more of that blue/purple undertone than the ultraviolet one. To give kind of that “dead” 😅 lips/90s vibe.
I do appreciate these ranking videos - I love when a creator gives the viewers something creative and unique. It shows a respect for the audience and an energy behind what’s being put out.
i just got a 12-pan multichrome gloss gods palette in the mail that cost less than that eyeshadow duo. mainstream brand's eyeshadow prices are genuinely abysmal. the most i've ever spent on a single shadow was $17, and even then i feel a bit embarrassed to admit it. but that's because i'm used to the reasonable indie prices. that's cheap compared to mainstream prices. people who haven't broken out of the ulta/sephora/whatever else bubble think paying $30 for a single shadow is normal, especially if it's in some other weird format instead of a 26mm pan. ABYSMAL

I just steer away from the ones my favorite creators say aren't good. John Maclean turned me on to Mac. He does such beautiful things with it. Have a lovely weekend Robert.
Robert, it made me happy to hear that watching The Snowman is a UK television tradition like Frosty and Rudolph are in the US! I live in the US, and my mom got a tape of The Snowman for me when I was little. I make sure to watch it every Christmas; it has my heart like none of the other traditional American Christmas specials do!
ND Roxa apparently she created a new Matt formula because as you know purple is a tricky colour to get right. I’ve seen this reviewed and I personally don’t think it works. I thought it was a purple palette and it seems to lean pink. I do love I need a nude. I love that palette but I need a warm is a bit meh. Personal preference really. Xx
This is the first time I have purchased a Natasha denona palette. As purple is my favourite colour. When I opened the palette it was WOW cant wait to use it over the holiday season 💜😍 x
I love the Nabla Arrow eyeliners I have. I bought the trendmood Nabla box a few years ago and those eyeliners/eye crayons are still just as creamy and pigmented as the day I opened them. I wear them frequently!

Lovely and I like the refillable aspect! 5 - ND Roxa palette take it or leave it. I do think it's pretty but the price is kinda out of my range 😭 6 - Nabla. These seem ok but I only have 6 and 10 left as of me typing this 💀 7 - Nudetix stacks. I simply don't care. 8 - Elf I do not want a Stanley cup and idc about these products LOL 9 - tarte. I don't shop there. 10 - Frosty collab. I actually think this is the perfect spot for it. I hate Christmas.
Hi, Nabla is an italian brand, maybe that's the reason for the price lol. I would love to see your review on those cupid's arrows cause they are stunning❤❤❤
I’ve had better luck with ND mini pallets. My Mini Dream Pallet is my favorite eye shadow. I bought 4 of them last week. They are perfect for travel and in my purse. Balance and Passion are made for me. I wear them everyday! ❤. Sending love to you, James, Ashton and Marcus! * and ALL the fur babies. ❤
I love all the tarte lip products, especially the round fuzzy applicator. It give a nice exfoliant when you put your product on, stimulates the plumping and gives better control for me with my lips being completely different shapes from each other. I do find, though that the colors are not that shiny on me but have a subtle shade for sheer color.
Nudestix's packaging being an exact copy of Melt's which would be perfect to stack with my collection but I am not moved by the marketing photos at all.
Ahhh finally someone saying they aren’t that impressed with ND eyeshadows…I have bought 3 of her palettes over time (hoping that maybe the one(s) before were just a bad batch or formulation) and have been absolutely disappointed in every one. The mattes are horrendous and half the glitters look exactly the same on the eyelid. Maybe I have gotten bad batches everytime, but idk….for spending $68-$125, Thee most overhyped eyeshadow palettes imo. So thank you, Robert, for some validation that I am not crazy 😂
I actually like the frosty palette. Not as a Christmas theme but as a pastel color scheme. I liked it better than actual pastel pallets on the market. Imo pastels are light, bright but still can be buildable. This pallet gives me that vibe.
I did it as they came up, no changing. Not perfect but close. 1. Lisa Eldridge Lipsticks 2. Nabla Lip Kits 3. ND Roxa 4. Colour Pop Frosty 5. Gen See Liquid Eyeshadows 6. Isamaya 7. Patrick Ta Eye Duos 8. Tart Sticks 9. Nude Stick Stacks 10. Elg Stanly Cup Lip Holder
ohhh that's a pity you didn't get to be on LIsa Eldridge's event. Alexandra Anele (an amazing makeup artist that I watch all the time) was there and it looked SOOO exciting!
1. Lip lacquer 2.0 (wow, impressive) 2. Gen See (love the versatility) 3. Natasha Denona palette (looks nice and versatile) 4. Lisa Eldridge lipsticks (love the concept and colours) 5. Christmas cosmetic kits (look lovely) 6. Tarte juicy lip gloss/oil (nice colours I don’t like clicky things and applicator) 7. Elf/Stanley (cute but so unnecessary) 8. Colorpop Frosty (not enough deep shades) 9. Patrick Ta (inconsistent formula) 10. Snap Stax Go
I’m actually planning on purchasing one of the Patrick Ta duos because that particular formula will look amazing and smooth whereas normal shimmers and shiny shadows will settle it the creases and tend to look a bit aged. I tend to have very dry lids in the winter due to allergies and the weather so it’s as if I have mature skin for a few months every year. Everyone says to stop wearing shiny shadows as your skin matures but they actually don’t pay attention to just finding a different formula. Tarte has a pallet that is a lot like PT but the shades don’t really work for my skin tone. If you can swipe the shadow across your hand and not see any lines you know it’s good.
I do like Tarte lip plumper, they have beautiful colors, I especially like the glittery looking ones, they aren’t painful to wear, but they are getting to be too expensive.
What is on your eyes? It is making your brown eyes really pop! (IMO that ELF collab with Stanley should have been #10. It is impractical and ridiculous. )

Here’s my honest list, I played along with the video. I did this based on MY preferences and if I could see myself actually buying the product based on my interest in it and price point.
I don't get why people freaked out over the Patrick Ta shadows either. He's a luxury brand and I've seen videos of those shadows swatched and they do look amazing! And here's the thing - you don't have to buy them if you don't want to...
I know it's just shade names, but Diva/Goddess etc just nails it in that the Nudestix Stax were phoned in. They just got something together to copy another product.

I watched his video explanation and I think it’s reasonable.
*GASP* that is my favorite eye look ever. an almost racing green is making me faint. it’s one of my fav watercolor colors and it’s ON YOUR FACE 🥰🥰
That black look actually beautiful on your skin tone.
@@ilyaalister8193 Thank you so much for this! ❤
Also Lauren Mae Beauty did an in-depth video of all shades including multiple dupes for each shade
Robert, I LOVE your eye makeup tonight!!! Those colours, that masterful blending! Gorgeous!
The Lisa Eldridge lipsticks look beautiful. I love the packaging and I saw several shades I’d wear for everyday.
Robert looks amazing and his sense of humor is priceless 💜
Omg that black lip gloss from Isamaya Beauty 😍😮🖤
If they can pull that off I wish they’d do one more that had more of that blue/purple undertone than the ultraviolet one. To give kind of that “dead” 😅 lips/90s vibe.
Love a new Robert video, especially when you start with "I have a lot to say..."
That black lipgloss is 🔥 🔥 🔥 ⭐️
Wake up babes! Robert just uploaded a new video 🥰
I love this game. I love seeing Robert’s reaction when he puts something in the wrong place like…”crap, crap, crap”…hilarious
I do appreciate these ranking videos - I love when a creator gives the viewers something creative and unique. It shows a respect for the audience and an energy behind what’s being put out.
I think you're going to love that Roxa palette! I got it and my favorite shade is that silver/purple swirl in the middle.
Your eyeshadow looks very Slytherin today, so gorgeous
i just got a 12-pan multichrome gloss gods palette in the mail that cost less than that eyeshadow duo. mainstream brand's eyeshadow prices are genuinely abysmal. the most i've ever spent on a single shadow was $17, and even then i feel a bit embarrassed to admit it. but that's because i'm used to the reasonable indie prices. that's cheap compared to mainstream prices. people who haven't broken out of the ulta/sephora/whatever else bubble think paying $30 for a single shadow is normal, especially if it's in some other weird format instead of a 26mm pan. ABYSMAL
OMG I gasped along with Robert at the Isamaya black gloss. That is stunning.
1-Tarte lip plumping glosses
2-Nabla sets
3-Liss Eldridgr lipsticks
4-the lip glossed with the black shiny (can't remem name lol)
5-Natasha Denoma Roxa palette
6-Colourpop Frosty collection
7-Gen See (overpriced)
8-Patrick Ta (unexciting)
9-Stanley/Elf (don't own a Stanley & already own the lip oils)
10-Nudestix stacks (shades are unappealing to me & price is not right)
P.s. I was halfway hoping you would put your collection in the running 💜🖤🩶🤍
An alternative to the first product is to use colourpop super shock highlighter ( or similar product) as eyeshadow. I have been doing that for weeks now.
I have something to admit. I sometimes don't watch the video. I play it in the background whilst I'm doing something else. Purely because I could listen to Robert's voice all day. And to both of his brother's but his mainly.
Happy Monday. Love your eye look. Thank you Robert 🏆
Ok I'm paused at 57seconds so I can Rank with you.
1 Natosha D.. Looks Stunning!!!!
2 Frosty
3Lisa E lip

7 Pat Ta..
8 Nudestix 59$????
9 Lip plumper Robert excited about lip colour! Lol
10 Tart plump
So glad I had you here to keep me company at work!
It depends on what you love. I pay 20.00 or more for single Mac shadows because I love Mac eyeshadows. Natasha Denona is also one of my favorites. I just steer away from the ones my favorite creators say aren't good. John Maclean turned me on to Mac. He does such beautiful things with it. Have a lovely weekend Robert.
I love this series! Your opinion and advice is so valuable!
Thank you for making Mondays bearable 🖤
I love the Nabla Arrow eyeliners I have. I bought the trendmood Nabla box a few years ago and those eyeliners/eye crayons are still just as creamy and pigmented as the day I opened them. I wear them frequently!
Yay so happy to see all these brands are cruelty free!! ❤️
If I could change my order id defo put the isamaya first.. super intrigued!! My ranking:
1. Nabla sticks
2. Isamaya lippies
3. Lisa eldridge
4. Elf silly silly
5. Tarte lippy things
6. Gen see thingys
7. Patrick ta eyeshadow
8. Natasha denona palette
9. Nudestix expensive ass shit
10. Colourpop
Ok i played along as you went and placed mine before I heard your reasonings!!! This is fun ngl
1 - ismana lip stuff. Gorgeous. (Twinning!)
2 - Patrick Ta. Expensive but GORGEOUS. I would eat these up.
3 - Gen See Liquid Eye. Too expensive but I LOVE LOVE LOVE liquid eyeshadows. Ugh.
4 - Lisa E lipsticks. Lovely and I like the refillable aspect!
5 - ND Roxa palette take it or leave it. I do think it's pretty but the price is kinda out of my range 😭
6 - Nabla. These seem ok but I only have 6 and 10 left as of me typing this 💀
7 - Nudetix stacks. I simply don't care.
8 - Elf I do not want a Stanley cup and idc about these products LOL
9 - tarte. I don't shop there.
10 - Frosty collab. I actually think this is the perfect spot for it. I hate Christmas.
That beetle gloss is awesome!!!!
Happy Monday to my most favourite creator 💜🖤💜🖤
I also ordered the Roxa palette because of the purples! It looks so gorgeous ❤
Loving the eye look!
Love those Lisa Eldrige new lippies. I wanna get Audrey and Lisa.
The black lip product was beautiful!!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤 xxxxxxx
Nudestix's packaging being an exact copy of Melt's which would be perfect to stack with my collection but I am not moved by the marketing photos at all.
Robert’s excitement is contagious, I agree with the #1 spot even without using them
Ahhh finally someone saying they aren’t that impressed with ND eyeshadows…I have bought 3 of her palettes over time (hoping that maybe the one(s) before were just a bad batch or formulation) and have been absolutely disappointed in every one. The mattes are horrendous and half the glitters look exactly the same on the eyelid. Maybe I have gotten bad batches everytime, but idk….for spending $68-$125, Thee most overhyped eyeshadow palettes imo. So thank you, Robert, for some validation that I am not crazy 😂
i’m desperate to try the purple Isamaya gloss!! it looks so beautiful and right up my street 😍
Yay! New release time! Happy Monday all 🖤
10:59 my prediction with this palette since it has purple shades it’s going straight to #1 boo!
12:25 dang it 😂
I'd looove to see you try more Nabla cosmetics
Highly recommend the alleyoop stack the odds set instead of the Nudestix set. Affordable, buildable, and by a smaller business!
ugh! you’re eye look is incredible!
4:30 the Milani Fruit Fetish glosses are a roundish fuzzy applicator, it’s pretty nice and picks up a lot of product
I actually like the frosty palette. Not as a Christmas theme but as a pastel color scheme. I liked it better than actual pastel pallets on the market. Imo pastels are light, bright but still can be buildable. This pallet gives me that vibe.
I was 100% prepared to be disappointed by that black gloss but 😮!!!! Gorgeous.
I did it as they came up, no changing. Not perfect but close.
1. Lisa Eldridge Lipsticks
2. Nabla Lip Kits
3. ND Roxa
4. Colour Pop Frosty
5. Gen See Liquid Eyeshadows
6. Isamaya
7. Patrick Ta Eye Duos
8. Tart Sticks
9. Nude Stick Stacks
10. Elg Stanly Cup Lip Holder
So sad that you missed the Lisa Eldridge launch on the train. It looked so fun!!!
Your eyeshadow look today is 🔥!
They are beautiful I’ve seen them in person , gorgeous colors ❤
Interested to hear your opinion on these products. Thanks Robert!!
ohhh that's a pity you didn't get to be on LIsa Eldridge's event. Alexandra Anele (an amazing makeup artist that I watch all the time) was there and it looked SOOO exciting!
your eyeshadow! omg stunning
i am in love with your eyeshadow, beautiful green that compliments your eye colour and skin ton, stunning !
If anybody knows could they tell me which eyeshadow Robert is wearing ty
1. Lip lacquer 2.0 (wow, impressive)
2. Gen See (love the versatility)
3. Natasha Denona palette (looks nice and versatile)
4. Lisa Eldridge lipsticks (love the concept and colours)
5. Christmas cosmetic kits (look lovely)
6. Tarte juicy lip gloss/oil (nice colours I don’t like clicky things and applicator)
7. Elf/Stanley (cute but so unnecessary)
8. Colorpop Frosty (not enough deep shades)
9. Patrick Ta (inconsistent formula)
1.viper
2.frosty
3.maracuja
4.i missed one lol
5.Lisa Eldridge
6.roxa
7.patrick ta
8.nude stax
9.Stanley
10.gensee
What is on your eyes? It is making your brown eyes really pop! (IMO that ELF collab with Stanley should have been #10. It is impractical and ridiculous. )
Beatle shade is stunning on you Robert x
Great video as always, thank you - but more importantly- you look AMAZING right now. That eye make up is phenomenal on you xx
Can you please share the gorgeous green eyeshadows you have used to create this stunning eye look, Robert?
your eye make up, when i think it cant get any nicer the next video its even better, eyes are beautiful in this video wow
I'm not 2 minutes into the video and already mesmerized by the eyeshadow 😍 Would love to know what it is! 🤔
YES YES YESSS!! Pleaseee do a video showing off and giving recommendations for good lip products! Especially nice lip oil and lip glosses. (Some drugstore dupes too!) I wish I knew of some drugstore dupes that have the EXACT feel as the “Tower28 lip oil” & the “Juvia’s Place Lip oil” 🙏🏼😩😭
The moonlignt palette has the most stunning shimmers. You get 4! It makes more sense then the Patrick Ta duos
I LOVE the eye shadows in the Color Pop Frosty collection! I think they were made in Italy. Much different textures than their regular eye product.
Love Robert’s honest opinion! ❤
1 Lisa Eldridge- those colors are gorgeous
2 colourpop- even if this wasn’t the last one I’d put it here I think it’s a cute collection and like their colors and love colourpop
3 ND palette- so pretty! Please do a video on it😍
4 liquid shadows-I like the colors
5 tarte-colors are nice but don’t care for plumpers
6plumpers- don’t like plumpers, or that price point but they are pretty
7 nabla- I just cannot spend more than $5 on a lip pencil I can’t
8 Patrick ta-pretty but way overpriced for me
9 elf- stupidest collection in history, I’m sorry I can’t stand any viral cup😂
10 nudestix stack - boring, don’t like the shades so overpriced
I love these videos Robert!!!
Yeah I agree. If it was a cheaper brand, that would be different. But what do people expect?
He is not luxury
I know it's just shade names, but Diva/Goddess etc just nails it in that the Nudestix Stax were phoned in. They just got something together to copy another product.
Eye look is fire!
Some of these collections are stunning & some not so… I agree with your list Robert xxx ❤❤❤
