This breaks my heart. I go to greece every winter for six months. the country gives me a cheap place to live, beautiful scenery and friendly people. When I arrive in Jan I will try to contribute in person. I would not give to an organization online as too much corruption and skimming.

The only real news report I've seen about the current situation. I would have appreciated also if you've asked people about the 600 euro subsidy you mentioned at the end. As far as I know, people get like 30 euros out of it.

Hate to say it but that young couple were an irresponsible lot. Both unemployed, living on their own, and with two more mouths to feed, how the heck do they expect to survive? All children deserve parents, but not all parents deserve children.

Please stay inside your homes, and have alternate heat etc to stay warm. Do not fly in the winter.
All homeless MUST be HOUSED and FED. DO NOT DRIVE! Put cars in parking garages before the storms. The upper level parking garages are better. Celebrate your Xmas in warm weather, and ZOOM from inside your home
