I have to say if someone gave me that palette I would wear the heck out of it to work.

I need an anti haul video to reinforce my willpower. This is a great time as the sales and special releases are mounting.
I’m not super familiar with Laura Geller as a brand, but I went to the site and watched the little clip of her (Laura Geller) introducing the products, and I feel like the WoF collab makes sense for the brand and their target audience (who are maybe a bit older than you/us- early 30s here). I was also a bit confused when I first saw it, but I think it’s just the IP x makeup wave finally hitting for a different demographic. I could 100% see some people being excited about this collab and picking it up, especially since the shades in the palette are still “wearable” but just in fun packaging. Definitely not for everyone, and I can see how this seems so out in left field amidst all of the IP collabs with more “exciting” colors and packaging, but I think it’s a fun option for makeup wearers who maybe have no connection to other IP collabs that have been happening in recent years, or who think those other IP collabs are “too much”. 🤷 Is it going to be to everyone’s taste? No, and that happens with any release from any brand, but I’d wager the WoF collab will still find its audience.

I'm sad about the Profusion x Casper collab. Profusion is super affordable and some of their smaller palettes are actually great quality. I was rooting for this one. 😓
Hourglass caters to medium skin. Im very pale and many of their shades are far too dark for me. I still got the Jellyfish one in the Owl packaging 😂
Yeah I tried all 3 palettes on my arms in Sephora to see the difference, and like the Snake is too dark, the leopard the blushes ones shades worked, but their skin shades were too dark, and the jellyfish were good on my pale skin but they weirdly have almost twice the same skin shade in the palette so I'm on the fence with buying it. I just wish they would let us pick the individual shades we want separately to put ourselves in the pack XD
@morganemalville9928 if they actually let us pick individual shades, along with our own outer packaging, it would be revolutionary and I'd hope other brands would follow. I've noticed brands with a meh shade range don't cater to light or dark skin...but the great mid range. So many items are simply too dark for me. I can work with a dark blush, but a highlighter and bronzer that's too dark is almost impossible to use.

I agree on so much of this. My stila shadow dried out so fast, I will literally never buy those again. That naked palette is so boring, but so are most palettes to me.
I’m gonna pick up an hr glass palette on Black Friday just cause I have fomo. The Casper highlighters are pretty cute imo xx

I really hoped I'd love the IT collection but I just didn't and the round palette looks like kids make up.
I've never owned a Stila item or Laura Gellar and most definitely would not want a wheel of fortune themed Collab.
🤮🥵💩 When you start collabing with everything, it's not special anymore. When you have a new release every month or every other month, it's exhausting. I miss the days when a new release came out, there were a lot of videos on them, and you could enjoy them until something else came out. Now we're being bombarded by new releases and brands are releasing palettes every other month. I'm so done. I'm not buying anymore for a while. I'm on a brand anti-haul. And grouchy today. 😂
P.S. This has nothing to do with the video but anyone else feel like the indie brands got us? They figured out if they can hype up a palette just enough and only stock a certain amount so that it sells out every time, people will jump to buy it. Then they release several so we don't have time to think about it. The fear of fomo is there, we know they don't have enough so we buy it right away. But don't worry, you can preorder and get it months down the road after the hype dies down. Oh but wait, another new one that's going to sell out... better jump on that one so we don't have to preorder and it's like this never ending cycle. 😅

@xamyx725 the collabs, yes lol. At least they keep their price reasonable. They could be like other Indie brands and charge $69-$88 and have releases weeks apart. Cuz we want to spend a ton of money like that. Which I did. 🤣 But I didn't like it. 😕 🤣
@@Lynnonymous My Ghost Face order is FINALLY “Ready to Ship”, but I know it’ll be at least another week or so before they finally ship it 😂 Did I order the Friday the 13th palette? Yes. Will I be ordering from the Nightmare on Elm Street collection? Also, yes… 😂 That said, I’m pretty much going to be done with the brand… They seem to have the capital to promote these collections, and boast about their “amazing warehouse”, but that can’t seem to be willing to pay for labor to make sure these collections are shipped in a reasonable amount of time…

For the P Louise. Since the color stories are more varried, we can just treat both side like 2 différents palettes. No need to combine :)

Your hat is just everything! Love it! I did buy the P Louise October box which will have one of the palettes, I do have her World of Wonder palette, its like a jewelry box, so the bottom drawer (palette) comes out which makes it easy to use, but it kinda is a pain to store on a shelf. The quality is SO GOOD tho for me its worth the hassle on the shelf. IDK what Laura Geller is doing...lol, totally agree with you! Have a great day! Love your videos!
Yea that Wheel of Fortune collab is definitely for an older generation. It's neutrals (when I think of the show I think of bright colors but wtf do I know I don't watch it lol) and Laura Geller. Profusion collabs are cute for the accessories, but in my experience their quality is not great when it comes to makeup. Love their hand mirrors -the Jurassic Park one is my daily, and before that I used one of their Halloween ones until the art wore off.
Now I want a Price is Right collab with brushes that look like Bob's microphone. Showcase Showdown: the orange one and the purple one!

I have one of the PLouise palettes, the Droplet of Magic, the one with the grey/black/teal/silver on one side and red/pink/purple on the other side, and while I think the formula is great, they do wonderful matte and shimmer formulas, I agree that the packaging is SUPER extra. I cut off the ribbon for the lock and key bc there is literally no point to it. The pallete(s?) is a nice decoration, so that adds some points for me.

I really want the hourglass jellyfish. I have 2 from last year though and I never use them. The pans are too small and close together to fit my cheek brushes

The Casper Profusion collab, idk about the rest but the highlighters are amazing and gorgeous, reminded me of kaleidos ones 💜
I own the mirror and one of the highlighters from Casper x Profusion. The mirror is stunning, very good sturdy quality and the highlighter is such a gorgeous sparkly wet looking highlight! I really wanna buy the p. Louise halloween palettes. Idc they are huge and impractical, they look soo pretty lol and I heard her quality is very good.
I didn't like a single stila liquid shadow. UA-cam convinced me to buy them and I just decluttered them after nor ever using them.
I had to block Laura Gellar on my social media accounts because I was CONSTANTLY seeing the same terrible ad for their powder foundation.
Here’s my thought on the Wheel of Fortune colab: Laura Gellar is geared towards older women. (As one, her powder foundation is my holy grail.) Vanna White is on Wheel of Fortune. She’s a pretty woman in her 60s. The Wheel of Fortune audience is older. So it makes sense, but it is ugly.
I was interested in the Fenty stick since the Eaze Drops work well for me, but I saw a review and it oxidizes so bad it was insane.

The wheel of fortune collab- think of the audience. Both wheel and Laura gellar are both an older audience. I actually am a huge wheel of fortune fan and the tube shaped like the million dollar wedge is so cute I would buy it. I just know you’re not the target audience for that one

My 15 yo son said "imagine being so boring that you're genuinely excited for a wheel of fortune eyeshadow palette" lol!!! I am not interested in any of these things. Does anyone remember the very recent past when spooky themed makeup was rare? And this year we have all of the famous spooky franchises! I am surprised that CP hasn't released a haloween entity collection!!!

I agree with you on everything! I was interested in the Fenty stick foundation, but the reviews from people with my skin type - normal to combo - weren’t great. I would love a good, light coverage stick foundation. 😋🙀🦟⛳️🔩

i do think it’s kind of funny that laura gellar has reframed the brand to be catered to mature skin and everyone associates wheel of fortune with their grandma watching it 😅
I have made a decision watching these collab releases and reviews for Makeup Revolution over the last few months.... permanent anti haul. They always seem cheap regardless of how cute it is.... I'll pass! The Fenti sticks may be good but not a gamble I want to make. I have not had any luck with cream or stick products. Although I want to try it anyway I must stand firm. Seriously the Wheel of Fortune collab should have been a joke.... because it is. If you love it cool, but I can't take it seriously.

The Naked palette... the cover is misleading to the colorstory inside. I got excited thinking they did all those colors... and then it's a normal nude with 2 pops... no. Stop.
Makeup Revolution has HORRIBLE quality nakeup, it's so bad. So much so that since Walmart has started selling it, any time I see someone looking at their products, I intervene and send them to much better places. I wish the whole BH Cosmetics thing would have been reversed, where they bailed out Makeup Revolution, because I'm worried that BH Cosmetics is still going to go out of business at this point. BH has great stuff, we don't need Makeup Revolution and their 10000000 sister brands
Makeup Revolution is one of the ONLY brands I've never found A SINGLE product to work for me so I basically refuse to try them anymore.
They have some good complexion products, have you tried any of them? Their eyeshadow is mid but I wouldn't call it horrible.
@@steampunk5123 I've tried all sorts of stuff from them and I've hated it ALL. The shadows are not pigmented, unblendable, and patchy. The blushes are patchy, highlighters don't even show up. Angelica was raving about a bronzer, I had to put like 10 layers on to even see a hint of color and it was patchy. As for foundations and concealers, I have what I call fish fry face, I'm super oily and even their mattifying products did not sit on my skin nicely. I will forever refuse to try anything else from them and will continue to turn as many people away as I can. There are other better quality products at Hellmart...I mean Walmart...that no one needs to buy Makeup Revolution or its billion sister brands
