Yes, well i had an original Solina back in the 70s, this is close to tempting, almost, practically, nearly.....you know how it is. I will probably get one of these (and a keyboard to drive it), but not just yet.....soon, oh soon....
I have Strymon Mobius pedal. In the Chorus effect section there's different modes. The mode "multi" is completely imitates solina ensemble chorus!!! (With few other adjustments of level, depth, rate, and tone. Tweak it and you'll be impressed!!!
My Behringer Solina distorts when I use the Phaser even at low volume. I even switched to a different PA but it still does it. But I have heard that some phasers do that.
yeah with the modulation off, it's nothing special - something the people at Solina were certainly well aware of. As for the phaser: I think I know what you mean. I'd prefer a wet/dry control for the phaser.
actually in the video (particularly the first minute) you can hear quite well how the crescendo works, but only on the first notes (not on second notes while holding the first) and only on string sounds but not brass sounds. But it's subtle so you have to push the slider to the right for a bit stronger effect
I know they kept it as close to the original as possible but since they added a phaser they might as well have given it a stereo output. By the way, at 4:18 it sounds completely out of tune. What's going on there?
The Small Stone phaser is (and always has been) a mono effect. You can't click your fingers and magically make it stereo - the left and right channels would need to be processed differently, and that would mean redesigning the circuit!
@@simonbeck7446 Yes, I know the Small Stone is also supposed to be mono but I mean, they already added that to the Solina so they might as well have added a stereo effect.
Thanks for the demo but that is the cheapest sounding thing I have ever heard. In what universe this sounds like "strings" I have no idea. Really glad I watched this before ordering one.
Best demo ever with no talking and no shity noises, you just sold me this incredible instrument with those stunning Jarre sounds
thanks for watching!
Fantastic! Getting one.
He's BACK, baby! :-)
Sounds awesome
The built in chorus effect is really amazing. Takes the sound to a whole Nother level :-)
2:47 random dandelion seed floats in like it's checking out the sounds
Well spotted!
Sounds nice!
Waiting for new industrial and new beats jams!
it's about time, isn't it :) thanks for your interest mate

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Solina...but I can get pretty close with my DM12 and even my DX7 can do some similar stuff.
You need to stand up and rock that keytar the proper way 😎
@@big_vart you’re right! I did that here: ua-cam.com/video/b103PhyZB0Y/v-deo.htmlsi=1HVazUXJNo_84Lpu
Excellent
thanks
Great 🎶

Give me that KEYTAR and nobody gets hurt!!👊🤕👊
with the keytar on the table (instead of default keytar posture) nobody got hurt
nice!
thanks

I know there's a rate knob on the phaser. Is there an amount?
Nevermind, got to the amount switch in the vid. Wish it was a knob ot slider.
yeah a slider or knob would be nice, but it's only the switch between two modes of intensity, and the rate knob
Shit gets real when you hit the 'modulation' button, which is this thing's magical power. The phaser is cool but just makes it sound too busy.

someone get that midi cable some water! it's fighting for its life out there!
Thought my Crescendo control wasn’t working, doesn’t seem to work on your either, what the point of it

So, you've been quiet. 👻
i still am...
Streichfett is much better, BUT: for Oxygene-Covers this one really rocks.
Of course does the horn play alone. Trumpet and Horn are mutually exlusive. Don't be fooled by the lights.

You're thinking orchestral strings and not string machines from the 70's. This sounds like that not an actual string section.👍
😂😂😂 not that rompler strings
