This homelife setup is garbage. No instructions just some clown throws it in and rushes through the setup and dumps it in your lap.

@@coxcommunications yea, think I’ll give that a hard pass. Have dealt with cox long enough to know that is futile. I’ll just box it up and bring it into their store. Video doesn’t even have audio.

I'm late to this conversation since I just received the video, but I gotta agree.
The equipment is '80s tech. The camera is static, no pan, tilt or zoom. My Kasa cameras have those features, plus audio and tracking at well under half the price of buying your camera. The cost of upgrading the Cox system is astronomical compared to buying smartbulbs and cameras and integrating them with the Alexa or other app. I can set my Echos to Guard mode to watch the house, and for a few dollars a month I have access to help just by saying "Alexa, call for help." I have the Echos set to Whisper Mode in case I ever need help quietly. Cox is not keeping up. You're charging premium prices for substandard equipment and services.
With the growing availability of everything from TV to internet and wifi services Cox needs to do some serious rethinking. Giving your service a fancy name like Panoramic WIFI and palming it off as superior is disingenuous. It should be superior for everyone considering the number of places that we can log into for free. Wifi service is becoming as common as being asked if you'd like coffee at a diner.
You're losing us. After nearly 34 years with Cox I'm seriously looking at changing. My loss is nothing. Put 10,000 of us together and it's a lot of money lost. The powers that be need to realize that they're not so entrenched as to be invulnerable.
Sorry for the long post, but actually I didn't say everything I think. I hope someone is actually listening to us.
