exactly...as much as i love pastor joseph prince and he's an incredible man of God and an awesome pastor...the guy owns like 10k jackets..wears a different jacket every sermon...and that guy is filthy rich...not that filthy rich is bad but the you would think, he would think of the example he might be setting by the way he's appearing for the world to see. idk...whatever though..i love francis...constantly on fire for our Lord
SUNDAY HOUSE fed church if @ 300 people plus UT college students (750 Reg Student groups) 5 grills in backyard for multiple seasons...large prayer groups...We do big things in Texas...Selah...Brother...
Ok, still same because Lord dropped in my Spirit, Sunday at Cracker Barrel....ALL will be done..and HE is Redeeming the Time...of course, then the enemy acted up but so what Isaiah 53:1
God bless this pastor! I'd just like to say pastors need to teach and model to the people of God the proper way to assess wealth and assets. I see that the way that he formulate the estimated assets of the congregant is flawed and not based on free and clear cash and real estate. It is injurious for wealth to based on “assets” that are really outstanding debts. Of the 1000 that own homes how many of the homes are paid for? Owe no man noting but love. Be the lenders to the bank, not the borrower.
Bottom Line: Get ready for Convergence and your Big Part...don't be a Slacker just because you just finished another outstanding conference...we are going to be so busy Being the Church Outside of the Walls...no time for conferences...
You have to search for Frances Chan on UA-cam and see all that the Lord has done for and through Frances. He lived in Hong Kong for a while, he was or is in San Francisco, he’s gone to Africa, and I don’t even think they built the church but donated all the money raised and holds services in houses/backyards. I’m blessed to see where the Lord leads him and his family. I pray for him and his family that
This is kind of strange, but he is actually, in a very subtle way, counting the money of his congregants. Very subtle indeed. He is virtually conditioning the congregation to say yes to any price point in the city that he deems is in the will of God. Why is he not taking in consideration the aggregated amount of debt that the members have, in the form of student, home, automobile, and general necessary living expenses. The way that he is figuring this, is in his favor and not the members.
@1thetuffguy > That's not fair to say. If YOU have any type of debt, ANY KIND... and go and buy something you can't afford at that time, that's YOUR own fault and then you want God to be HUDDINI and make all your problems go away...B4real! The church is were you get foundational building instructions on how to live a Holy and Carefree Life.

This is not true his church is not a building! I understand this was his understanding at the time it was also a mistake.
True. But what happens when the size of the building affects how many people hear the message?
I'm probably wrong though

Most of the money given is to the poor and he gives away most of his income too as well as the money he makes from writing

@@Yzzil45 it’s about a relationship not about being holy. That’s only part of the equation
