I love going back to Sporcle once every 4 months and seeing if my brain has aged!!!

Takes me back to when he said he loves England so much he wishes it was real. I think he really might not know that it exists.
He also only got the UK on the map quiz because he was trying to type Ukraine. There’s a good chance he’s completely unaware it exists.

I think NL's understanding of logic means "sometimes you gotta guess" and I'm all here for it
The African round at 12:15 had me rolling. He litearally typed every country around the region itself. And the capital of Botswana.

This was a real good one. A tip! - Myanmar used to be named Burma- - so you'll know it by Burmese food!!
I searched for this in Google Maps in Europe (just Europe), and there are like four hits total, of which one is in Budapest and definitely isn't a Burmese restaurant, but rather Thai.
@@gyuziburcsany the further you zoom out in maps the less detail it shows. there are more than 4 Burmese restaurants in Europe

If you want to be generous you can discard the one where he accidentally put Bolivia in the wrong box. But yeah lol.
I like how some of the tips are just "Iceland is in B3" and some of of them are like "If there is a country that starts with E in row 4, then there will also be a country that starts with M"

Selection bias, the people who would willingly take a sporcle quiz guessing the countries around a country are not the average “which shape is not a square” quiz takers

When contemplating the most populated country in Africa, I immediately thought for sure either Egypt or South Africa. Not even close dude. Egypt only has 100 million people. South Africa only has 59 million (shocking to me). But Nigeria has over 200 million people. Two thirds of the entire population of the United States, is in a country that's only a third larger than Texas.
Their capital, Lagos, has a metro population that is higher than the entire state of New York.
North American spelling Liechtenstein correctly is kinda cracked
I now know that NL is a master at 1/3 of the the earths surface but is terrible at the 2/3. He literally called the Caspian Sea the Black Sea.

there’s a how to play section of about fifteen words that says that adjacent includes diagonals which nl neglected to read.

If B1 needs to be a two word asian island country, timor leste should still work for it as well. Weird that they would end it with a potential double answer
(even if it isnt the entire island it still fits the definition of an island country as it doesn't have any land on a continental mainland)
