What a lovely voice. My Gran was from Scotland, i loved her to bits. An orphan who worked in the mills at 14 to support herself. Her job was to slip between the looms and pick up the shuttles. As she got older she became a weaver, married a WW1 soldier and lived happily ever after. A wicked sense of humour and a great cook. Thanks for taking me back to happy childhood memories 😊

As you pause it, and add your own comment.. you really drew me into it.. I felt like a kid again, sitting on the floor at your feet. On the edge of suspense and the unknown.. How am I supposed to Sleep, after this? Now, I'm wondering what Witch Water is, and how a maiden can survive a 300' drop from a Rocky Cliff? You had me visualizing the whole scene, Josette! Transporting me to distant, far away lands.. awesome! Please, do more of these stories. I really enjoyed it. Maybe you should read through them once beforehand though.. 😅 Seriously, though, I truly enjoyed it. You're an amazing person. So beautiful. I could watch you read a cookbook! ❤

I enjoyed it so much that the romantic tragedy tale stuck with me for these many years. I don't know if you've ever heard of it... it's the story of the Piper of Duntrune.
