In tonight's video I will be bringing you two mystical folk tales from Scotland, read in a soft spoken voice. I filmed in a new location, which I tried to make feel all cosy, so I hope you enjoyed the change of scene and the fireside vibe!

Wow, that was so moving... most definitely, original Scottish tales, told with an original Scottish accent.. I particularly liked the second one. As you pause it, and add your own comment.. you really drew me into it.. I felt like a kid again, sitting on the floor at your feet. On the edge of suspense and the unknown.. How am I supposed to Sleep, after this? Now, I'm wondering what Witch Water is, and how a maiden can survive a 300' drop from a Rocky Cliff? You had me visualizing the whole scene, Josette! Transporting me to distant, far away lands.. awesome! Please, do more of these stories. I really enjoyed it. Maybe you should read through them once beforehand though.. 😅

Well.. this certainly was a real treat. Thank you very much! To be candid with you, this video actually sparked a memory of a very vintage TV program that talked about haunted Scotland. I enjoyed it so much that the romantic tragedy tale stuck with me for these many years. I don't know if you've ever heard of it... it's the story of the Piper of Duntrune.

Loved it. Haven't heard the term bairn since my great gran died in the 80s. Funny how the term stuck with my family here in the USA since her fam came over before the revolutionary war. She called all of us brats bairns.
