They are 2nd in the EPL last season. Bayern finished 3rd in the farmers league. So Arsenal is a better team than Bayern is a greater threat to Real Madrid and City.

For me it's not only that Kane wanted to score a lot of goals, it's also the way of how the team plays under Kompany, last season under Tuchel a lot of players were in big disadvantage because of his poor football style, he also didn't know what to ask the players to do and where to play. With Kompany is totally different everyone knows his place and they are asked to do the things they are best at, it's the same case with Musiala, he was looking good last season but Tuchel was just dumb to not use him right, with Kompany I see a different Musiala that I really love watching play.

What’s shocking to me is that Kane scored around 30 to 35 goals last season with Bayern and assisted 12 times, but because he had a bad 5 to 6 games at the Euros, the panel thought he wouldn’t score any goals for Bayern anymore. Now, he’s scoring goals, and they say it’s just penalties and tap-ins. Don’t get carried away! Did they even see his last league game? He scored a hat trick, and those weren’t just tap-ins. They must really hate Bayern. I get that Vincent Kompany has just started with Bayern, but the team looks good with him, so why can’t he get credit for that? But Hansi Flick gets credited for bringing Barca back? How does the ‘it’s too early’ argument not apply to him?

Look, I am not questioning his validity as a pundit, he makes lots of good comments like all the others, just there is a time and a place, a balance is to be had for 'fun & games' and 'normal' expert footie commentary. This is the Championsleague and teams like Liverpool Chelsea Madrid Barcelona City Bayern Dortmund have shown time and time again, that you can´t translate your league performances, into Championsleague performances.
I don´t know how this works in detail, but Football heritage isn´t superficial when it comes down to the knockout stages in the Championsleague.
