Steve is even more animated in Africa, he seems really happy
Tumi Nkomo the first two sentences lost me
Animated = acting ghetto?
@Tumi Nkomo they dont like him because they cant control him and dont want to understand him, they think every black celebrity should involved in their political nonsense, but Steve knows them very well, they're selfish. Steve is a inspiration to many people, he is a great comedian and a businessman and he does help many people especially black people with jobs and businesses. Furthermore Africa need more people like Steve, they need him to make this show successful, as it happening.
@Tumi Nkomo Steve has enough money already. He does not need the extra money from South Africa. Be positive man. Steve has done you no wrong.
@@tk4609 I don't mean to ask a loaded question, but as someone not from South Africa, what does that mean 'they can't control him'?
He spilled some facts on that load shedding tho, can't lie
yes he did, facts!
So true, he is aware of the same thing they did in California in the 80's with rolling blackouts while wall street and rich folks made money of it....corruption is fucked up, it's funny they always think they are the smartest guys in the room
Anzani Launcelot Enron caused the same thing in the late 90s too, I believe. Also corruption.
Real #fact, that's how it is all over Africa, the leaders/rich got citizens thinking that there is not enough electricity when in fact there is
He's going to have an accident
Load Shedding in the title brought me here😂😂 I thought only Ghanaians were suffering,😂 We in this together😭😭😭 AfricanLivesMatter😂😂🔥
😂😂😂😂.
She says there's dumsor everyday😂😂😂
@@anthonydanyameabuah4542 😂😂😂😂 e no easy oh
Lol I love how Namibia still gets the electricity from SA... but we don't have load shedding 😂😂😂
@Baffour ComMo I was lucky enough to travel to a few countries in Africa in 2015. Dumsor is in Cameroun, Congo, Chad, Zambia and SA. When I realized that, I didn't feel so bad. But ours in 2015 was the worst across Africa.
@@jce1392 😂 we have Alot of illegal connections this side is it the same there?
Coloured aunties here in South Africa are always a vibe🤣🙌🏽💯💯🇿🇦
What do you mean by colored aunties
@@kristinaologban3352 Well, here in South Africa "Coloured" is a term for people that are "mixed race". Originally used more specifically to "brown people" that were a mix of Khoisan and Dutch/White back when the Europeans first colonised South Africa, but is used now for most mixed race people here. I also belong to that group of people here in SA.
Typically we call women old enough to be our mothers "tannie"(Afrikaans for 'aunty') or "aunty" and men old enough to be our fathers "oom"(Afrikaans for 'uncle') or "uncle", out of respect.
Hence, I said "Coloured aunties"😅🤷🏾♂️
The ladies in the video may be more Cape Malay origin in Cape Town tho' and are also grouped in with the "Coloured" group here in South Africa.
@@kristinaologban3352 In the Apartheid era the term "Coloured" was meant to denote mixed-race people (in practice this included mixed race Asian-African-Caucasian people, Asians & reclassified blacks). i.e. people of colour who generally spoke the colonially derived Dutch variant of Afrikaans.
(Before that, Coloured under the British during the 19th century was used to mean "people of colour")
The non-native origins come from slaves that were brought in from the 17th century on by the Dutch from Asia (Dutch East Indies, etc), Madagascar, Mozambique, Angola, etc. These intermingled with local African natives and Caucasians to form the core of the Coloured population.
Coloured as a term *today* refers to a largely Afrikaans-speaking *culture* of Asian-African-Caucasian creole origin (that is *genetically* very varied "one man to the next" & not easily definable).
Good luck explaining that to Americans before they get offended.
@@brot6238 I'm but a simple man. I wouldn't have been able to articulate it this properly 😅.

@@siyabongabuthelezi7689 hahaha wish we could bring him back ,it wasn't so good during his time too but better as compared to now😂😂😂
csm csm where do you stay.. We haven't had any load shedding since the lock down
All I'm saying is that I haven't experienced any loadshedding since Family Fued SA started. So maybe Steve really did stop it.
Now that you mentioned it
Big companies that use too much electricity are closed..... lockdown 😉😉😉
In Qwaqwa is no longer loadshedding, now everyone knows they get electricity when it's time to not use midnight
It because of lockdown
Not everwhere you get loadshedding here in SA
I learning so much about Africa with these videos. At first I thought Load shedding meant going to the bathroom and doing number 2....lol.
Every country refers to it differently. For example South Africans say load shedding. Ghanaians say dumso dumsu, and Nigerians say NEPA (the national electrical company)
@@royalstarr1 It's no longer called NEPA though.
Chudy Ilozue really? They change names but are still the same.
😂😂😂 doing number 2, I understand why lol. We say going to drop off some cousins at the coast for number 2 lol.
Lmao wtf???
Funny we have lots of sunshine in Africa and they can't utilize it for a massive solar plant to power the continent. Crazy
It's a political set up to destroy Eskom so they can buy it cheaper.
Don't even get me started today. I've got so much angry shit to say on that topic. Electricity is still an ongoing problem while it's not free. You pay for a half ass service.
Solar panels are very expensive and inefficient.
It’s a political business
Bro the whole world is set up to be against us..
It's amazing how a simple game show is showing the cultural differences between countries that actually speak the same language.
His surprise face is hilarious. I love that he gets educated about Africa in each episode.
I do too...that is why I watch this. Very interesting!! - USA fan
This is a joyful learning experience for me as well!
😂😂 "I'm here, in South Africa, to stop load shedding" its very American of you to think that, Steve😂🚮
😂😂😂😂😂 bruh, my people in the crowd lebona!
Yep exactly what I was thinking. Plus these days we don't just trust anyone that brings "help" to Africa
@@imeldamahlake6258 he has that look because it's unthinkable to have deliberate electricity cuts in his country.
Mo Giants Not entirely unthinkable, just rare and confined to a particular region, usually California where the bureaucracy is especially stupid and incompetent. I would say the secondary cause is an American love affair with the air conditioning and tendency towards being wasteful. Especially those supposedly earth-conscious Californians.
Kamwi Nalisa Also...I am American but the first thing I thought was, “You had better be ready to put your money where your mouth is and back that up with some SERIOUS investments. Otherwise that’s just a bunch of hot air.”
It was coronavirus that stopped load shedding not Steve Harvey😂
Maybe Steve sent the Corona through his Chinese friends 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I always watch these to laugh. I am a 20 + year activist so to watch him make this statement for the people struck my heart. I wish more celebrities used their platforms with such integrity!
Steve: There's a lot of electricity
Crowd: Yessssssssssssss...
😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lol
I've come to realize I'm reading these comments that load shedding is not only an African issue but also happens in Asia,South America and the Caribbean islands. South Africa we've been complaining about 2 hours load shedding that happens once in a while and currently we haven't had in months whilst other countries have up to 9hrs of no electricity daily.
The US too, don't be fooled.
Eastern Europe also and even sometimes in some western european countries.
In the Philippines we call it brownout ( partial loadshedding) or blackout ( bigger area).

save for whitey, Advocate is what we get from steve.
Barbara McCormack you’re missing the point. While I am not African, I am not from the US either. I just live here. Americans with colonizer mentalities always think their way of life is better than others. It’s a lack of respect.
@@ludwineauguste2461 You're mad at Steve and not the company that cuts your power off. Okay
Michelle Jones First it’s not my electricity I am in the US and I am not from South Africa. 2nd it is very disrespectful to go to another country and tell them that their way of doing thing is stupid and decide you’re gonna change it. Come on I love watching Steve, he is fun but sometimes he puts his foot in his mouth. Does he deserve to be hated for it? No. He needs to be educated on the matter. Respect and boundaries that’s all.
ludwine auguste I think your comment is ironic. The colonizing of SA is why it is so industrial. You benefit from it.

We have over 9 hrs of load shedding in Zambia especially in high density areas it’s actually crazy
Wow this is insane!!
True
9 hours? I’m so sorry honey. How do you survive through that?
In south africa it used to be after 5 years
Now it's more common after Zuma due to lack of maintenance
I'm from DRC we have the water dam of Inga provide electricity to many other countries including SA and most of DRC doesn't have access to electricity and we have constant constant load shedding
2:23 This would’ve been so epic if at that very moment Eskom turned everything off.😂😭💀
My dude Steve Harvey never waste an oportunity to start a popular uprising

steve really makes it fun to watch him so enjoyable
As an American, I find this show interesting & I learn so much. I learn even more from the comments below. I am so privileged to live in a country that does not have load shedding except in extreme situations, & rarely. God bless all of you living overseas. You guys ROCK!

Yes Steve, Loadshedding
you can tell these women are very intelligent
it's the same as Rolling Blackouts in Peak Times in USA - but in USA is Usually on in the Hottest part of Summer or Coldest part of Winter in Large Metro areas.
I never thought one would light a candle to be able to light a cigarette
I think it’s more about lighting a scented candle so that you can hide the smell of the cigarette
Poor ppl do that as they don't have a lighter or match box and leave in areas with no electricity only using candles. Funny they have money for cigarettes.
Not a lot of electricity in Africa, Mr Steve😁
