Is there any way to connect the audio to the tv when using the phone mirroring ? I tried casting to the tv and it would recognize it so I had to use mirroring instead 😢
Using my chromecast (I have the newest one like you have) and it freezes after an hour or so of use. Not always, but it's very very unstable compared to casting to the phone in the meta app. I am curious your experience?
Is this really hard for meta to use a wifi direct or dlna? With these two methods, you can freely connect to any tv or mobile phone or tablet without that needed internet nonsense 🙄
@@aydobo890 Yup. I have two Wi-Fi signals with same name since I added a couple of Eeros. This morning I switched to the other and, voila, I was able to perform setup easily.

I can cast to my chromecast pretty easily, but the audio only comes out the headset, not the TV/AV Receiver.
What do you do if your on the same WiFi and the chrome cast is on but it’s not popping up on the list to cast

Chromecast is not fully supported with Meta Quest anymore
Quick tip. If you are using smart view and have a vpn running, it wont work. You will need to trun vpn off

Maybe your tv isn’t supported for that, some Samsungs struggle to have that
