We just watched a concert of our beloved Sheena Easton at Southpoint Casino in Henderson Nevada. It's time for her to rest and stop touring. Her lovely voice is gone.
Did anyone tell you that you should stop working? If you don't like her voice don't listen. The lady is 65 years old and you're looking for a 20 year old Sheena. You go rest and stop working I'm sure there's some people tired of seeing you too.
I grew up in the 80's and 90's. Watched everyone of her videos and love her voice. For her age, I think she looks and sounds great. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic.
God knows how i got here and had no intention of looking for Sheena Easton. I started looking up some Prince songs, and here i am hours later. Tell you what, she has a great sense of humour. 😂 I'm glad i saw this. Thanks for sharing. 👍✌️
I give her credit for trying.... she's up there in age now.... I've enjoyed watching this post. She did lose the colors and tones in her voice though. We all can't be perfect forever.
belting over that many years takes it toll on the voice... she still sings with emotion, and energy... (there was some REALLY great moments in Morning Train...)

She lost her Scottish accent as soon as she went to America and was booed on stage in UK. Her brother got Married in my hometown and she was escorted into church with a blanket over her head and then left by a side door.Caused more of a scene than need be. No-one cares for her in the UK.I personally liked her voice
To those of us who loved her performance, tone, and range in the 80s, this is sad. This is from a fan. She would do well to hire a good arranger/director to rearrange the songs to match her current voice. This might improve the situation. Sorry, folks. This is mostly bad. Even a true fan, with an ear, can tell this is not good. By the way, I do not mean the fact that she has aged in appearance, as we all do.
But wait............. Whilst I agree that Sheena definitely RAPED our earholes with this bizarre out of key performance I must say that she can hit some excellent notes on other good days as she continues to tour around. Just not this day though. This was like watching Vicky from accounting get up and sing whilst drunk at the company Christmas party.
I didnt realize how funny she is... I really like Sheena. I always thought she looked great with short hair. She had some amazing hairstyles. Who was filming that by the way ? It was dreadful
Unfortunately the Scots turned against her . Within a few months of being famous she suddenly became American and gave the impression she was better than us . She looked down on us and at the time received a fair amount of abuse. The whole thing was just an act but we weren’t fooled. The rest is history. In Scotland this is what she will always be remembered for. In any walk of life you should never forget were you came from. Lulu just got away with it and no more .
Hard to recognize her after 40 years of her famous hits. She changed a lot. She got old, fat. Lost her voice and beauty. What a shame. First and last time I see her since watching her old videos 🤐
@@Saint_inDisguise I think it's more about the weird effect to cover her weak, quivering vocals and the fact that she is often flat or sharp. She needs a better music director to arrange her music in a proper key and cadence for her current voice. It is objectively not there. It's not a catty or unkind remark.
But wait everyone.............
