Fala galera, eu tenho um Music Man Sterling Stingray SubSeries 5 e gostaria de saber a diferença dele para os outros Sterling e StingRay. Perdoem-me pois sou leigo nesse detalhe.
O meu foi um pouco caro, vi alguns comentários sobre alguns e fiquei em dúvida.

Hey a question to you.. I just bought this bass a week ago and was wondering, did you find the D and the G string to be a little weak sounding compared to the other strings? And of so what did you do to fix the issue?

The best way is to either smooth things out with a flat EQ and, the an eq pedal, and bring the over all bass back with an amp. Which means dont use the bass boost much, from the bass active EQ. Or if you are a traditional sort of bass player, use the strings in unison with drums. With this, I mean use the E and A with the kick drums, and the D and G with the snare and hi hat. If you play slap hit the thumb on E and A, and pluck the D and G.

Dude...... serious groove. I hardly ever leave a comment unless its Charles Berthoud...... Great choice of notes, killer tone, grovin' ass rhythm. I just got my sterling yesterday.... the shorter scale neck is groovin for slap and pop. My 3k$ Spector doesn't even sound as good.

amazing technique! You are on another level, I would like you to tell us what your setup is to make it sound so good, do you use any pedal and what amplifier (brand and how many watts)?

I am looking into getting this bass, but it's all pretty new to me. Could you give me some insight as to how one would get this tone? :) I know the biggest part is the player, but I'd love it to sound like this. Sounds great!

Great playing! Did you have to lower the pickup due to the hot output?

Yes. In my case with a focusrite scarlett 2i2 it was necessary.

Hi Rick! Thanx for the compliment! For first the output was super hot for me, and sonic-wise I didn't feel the sound balanced at all. So I seriously cut the lows immediately on the onboard preamp, and boosted the highs as well, and then a miracle happened. The bass turned into a perfectly useable, perfectly adjustable, inspirating beast which I loved very much. With these tweaks this axe totally plays and sounds like the beloved MM SR5s. And the B string dude..... Super articulated, with loads of pounch and sustain. The factory strings were bad, so I put a set of EB 2836 .045-.130 nickels what you can hear on the recording.

@@musicintercity3192 good to hear! I actually made a few extra mod's to mine. I changed out the stock pickup and added a Delano pickup, very pleased with the sound!
