    The first feeling I had when I saw the thumbnail, was happiness for the fact that I read 'pokemon' and not 'pokemon's' or whatever, cause Pokemon doesn't have a plural form :D

    I remember when Sharla posted a video on going to Takao-san in the fall and I thought it was soooo beautiful there! I'm glad to see it's just as beautiful in the summer, too!

    The hair on my arms literally stood up when I heard that voice on the chair lift when you were coming down. Before you even said it I thought it sounded terribly ominous!! I don't know why but the chairlift frightens me, Eep. It's the height aspect I think. Beautiful views though as you were going up & down. Would you go back there again when the weather is cooler or is it only open during the summer season? I think it's a beautiful place. I have never had a strong urge to go to Japan, but you've really made me research a few places you've been to, look up a lot of the history of the buildings - love it. I love the pace of the life, how calm people seem to be, how intrigued everyone is. Amazing.

      Yeah the chair lift is quite a long trip! But it's a nice ride, no matter how shaky I made it sound haha. It's peaceful 😊

    woah my dads called takao 😂 never knew he was named after a mountain...bit weird but nevertheless interesting 😅

    Waah! It looks amazing there! I've recently returned from the snows and your chairlift ride reminds me of the chairlift ride up to the slopes except with no snow! By the way, was there an entrance fee to go in and climb Mt Takao? Or is it free and you just have to pay a separate fee to use the chairlift? The flowers look amazing, it's really warm here in Australia for Winter going into spring so I'm hoping for an early spring to go flower viewing!
    Keep up the videos and remember to always enjoy yourself Emma! Adios

    • @TokidokiTraveller
      @TokidokiTraveller  8 років тому

      Hey hey! yeah no snow on these slopes, only a bunch of cicadas! no fee to climb mt takao, but yeah there is a fee for the chair lift or cable car. But you don't have to use them and can climb that distance instead if you want! haha i miss spring! I am excited for autumn to come so i can see all the different coloured leaves and wear a light jacket and not sweat out my soul hahaha
      thanks! ^^

    Omg isn't there any safety belt or anything on the chair lift?!

    • @pas7680
      @pas7680 7 років тому

      no, never seen a belt on a chair lift anywhere in the world....they don't stop moving, you need to get on and off quickly.

    • @linneax
      @linneax 7 років тому

      pas7680 I've never been on a chair lift without any safety thing. When I say belts I don't mean like car seat but more a "safety bar" in front of you. That you pull down after being seated and lift up when you arrive over a safety net at the top in case you'd fall before you get off. Google "Chair lift sweden" and GettyImages has one picture showing a alpine ski contestant sitting in it :)

    • @pas7680
      @pas7680 7 років тому

      When i said "seen" i probably should have said "used". I've just never really looked at any that I've not actually been on. The one on Takao never really gets more than a couple of metres off the ground below, so i guess they figured it wasn't needed. Although i did almost drop my camera gong up and that would have been an embarrassing mess to deal with.
